You really need to be more selective with co-hosts. I am sure they are nice guys but the never ending bleating out of generic obvious statements with no bearing on the game situation made this really hard to listen to. "That ships is almost out of fuel!" "We should attack them!" "We can't launch aircraft if we are on fire!" "How much fuel does the CAP have?" etc. etc.

Glad to have this series back. No one else puts so much effort into his ship designs.

Wouldnt it be useful now to return Strasbourg and Aquataine into service as a “territory capture ships?” Due to their age it would make sence to change treir purpose a bit.

I cant understand, why you have so much BB and BC in 1957. For me its obsolete ships with huge maintenance costs. Even after rebuild is BB too fragile against rocket attacks. For one BB you could have 5 new DD with 4 HSSM. Its much more sense.

Rebuilds dont add to shipyard building tonnage requirements afaik. Really only should if power plant gets overhauled.

I know we already had this discussion, but the level of commitment you have to those early century shitbox destroyers is incredible.

Yep, I have sold ships three times (one each of an old CA, BB and BC) in my current play through. They have all gotten scrapped pretty much right away.

I sincerely think you need to start scrapping some of the oldest ships in the fleet.

No update of the Painleve machinery? Wow the budget went up nearly 100k, excellent.

I'm not 100% sure how it works mechanics-wise, but the hangar side/belt armor might be relavent for carriers as I'm pretty sure the game calculates damage from ASMs as coming from the side, not top.
