This amazing cliffhanger ending reminded me a LOT of the Star Trek: The Next Generation episode The Best Of Both Worlds Part 1.Take a look at the similarities: TNG: The Enterprise crew is completely out of their league as they run into the Borg, a relentless and unstoppable foe. I'm terrified when I read comments, to be honest. No, she didn't have to kill him. That's the point. This is straight forward vengeance, nothing else and it was not necessary, nor it is superhero's way. That's exacly why she feels guilty about it. It wasn't right thing to do. And also, it only made things worse. I mean, it was on impulse, so it's not like she's a monster but it makes sense shes feeling like this

Kinda wish we could have seen what happened to Sam after this. Wonder if he was still in Blue Valley and was placed under the control of the ISA machine like all the adults when Project New America happened; it did broadcast to half of America so it's very likely. Some of them didn't survive (like that teacher at Blue Valley High, Mr. Levine) so it's sort of wishful thinking that maybe he got what he deserved and died.
