Malnad Style Thotti Mane |Dream House with Courtyard| 100% Vasthu | Perfect house for humid weather
Some people might think why I built my house like this. There is a reason guys,
We are located near coastal area and it will be very humid in most of the seasons. So I have decided to build this house with courtyard.
Bcoz of this, we are having good air circulation and direct sunlight in my house.
Benefits:
*You don’t feel lazy since it won’t be dark.
*You won’t feel humid since it has good ventilation.
*Floor will be very cool since I have used granite
*Sit-out will be cool since I have used traditional roof tiles.
Yes, my house is super cool even in humid conditions. So I’m sharing this information with you guys so that it will be useful for everyone.

1600 square feet including Sitout and courtyard.
You need 40:50 site to construct this house. (Atleast 35: 45 required.)

Constructed Year: Between 2021-2022
Location: Halady, kundapura Taluk , Udupi district
Budget: 35-40Lakh based on the material you choose.
Dimension: 36,40 (without sitout portion)
Wooden pillars in Sitout and Courtyard
Wood used: Bogi, Saguvani,Kalyan bogi, Hebbelasu, Maguvani
Floor: Lakha red Granite with Black granite border.

@@mena_vinaykumar yes you can. But plz make sure water flow is perfect. Otherwise you might face leakage issues in slab.

Don't these wooden pillars get spoiled due to rain, sunlight? R they good for veranda?
I think with wood in any place in the tropics, there is the problem of termites no matter how well the wood is treated so just prepare to change wood in the coming years. However, the wooden roof is beautiful.
It’s based on wood materials. I have used good one. So for next 20 years no issues
When washing machine and laundry is right in front of me I keep hustling with chores,can't even imagine laundry room on the terrace
