I've been practicing TM and the TM-Sidhis program for over 50 years. It has only brought progressive benefit to my life. I owned a successful business and raised a family and lived a balanced, integrated life while being very involved in my regular TM practice and an association with the TM Movement which is not a cult. It was created by Maharshi to administer the teaching of the Vedic knowledge he espoused and to ensure the knowledge is maintained in it's purity for many generations. Don't confuse enthusiasm for this knowledge and deep respect for Maharshi as cult like behavior. Maharshi was very aggressive in having scientists confirm the mental, physical, psychological and societal benefits of TM. No one who learns TM is required to do anything but innocently follow the instructions to practice TM properly. This doesn't involve any belief in anything...even in the efficacy of the technique to bring benefits. The technique is a blessing and has had a big impact in diminishing the suffering in the lives of millions of people.

The practice of meditation, mindfulness has its benefits as it was studied and is still researched by doctors and universities all concluded positive health improvements.I believe you can do the practice without being part of a guru organization.🙏

Thank you Dan for an objective presentation which reveals M.M.Y. for what he is. If anyone has any doubts about this "great teacher;" he taught Patanjali's Sutras over forty years ago. After all this time his followers who were taught to "fly " are still bouncing around on deep-foam-plastic mats, as revealed in the video. I gave up the dangerous practice when I realized that to me it was a money-making scam.
