I grew up not understanding that he was using drugs & alcohol because he was hurting. He didn’t want to hurt me. and I thought my whole life it was bc he hated me. And now I realize as an adult life is real hard and u get why people hurt and wanna use to help the pain. Not condoning it but I have a better view upon it now.
