Free Will is proved by its own analysis. If I can analyse whether I have free will, whether I can reach for the pen, steal the biscuit, then I must have free will. Less in children and animals.

@@ismailchennani4496 I think they mean that since we are able to decide whether or not we believe in free will, there is a choice and so if you can arbitrarily choose one or the other, you automatically have free will

@@ismailchennani4496 yes those factors can have a huge influence on your decision and decision making ability, but couldn't you say that ultimately you could end up picking a solution, to whatever situation or problem, that is not predictable based off one's experiences and environment?

@@ismailchennani4496 yeah, but whether or not the choice is constricted to a certain point, the choice is still there nevertheless.

As a person who doesn't believe in free will, I too don't know anyone else-personally-who believes as I do.

People are not equal in our abilities or other traits and how boring would it be if we were? The way we are equal is that we all have conscious experience. I can't think of anything more valuable than that and I can't imagine how ones conscious experience can be more or less important than anyone else's. I enjoyed the video. As if I could have chosen not to...

This is actually my least favorite John Green book, but I actually never thought of what you just said: he spends the whole book building her up, and then she turns out to not be perfect, and that's okay because no one is!

Great vlog! The play's title reminded me of a Native American Studies book with a similar name and historical outlook, check it out: www.hup.harvard.edu/catalog.php?isbn=9780674011175
