Inspired by sounds of ANS synth and oddities heard on various radio bands I decided to make this minimalist soundpiece which basically is G# B D G# notes that make nice pulsations. I am using only one of both op-amps that are in chip and still can overdrive the paper speaker that was in the box. Seems that the spider is loose and that makes distorted sound when I try to play louder. Made it all by myself. Hope you like it. After circuitbending my GTA10 amplifier I am using it as main preamplifier. When used that way it produces kinda soft distortion at 3/4 to max gain and is plenty strong to drive power IC that's inside amplifier. Partslist: C1,C2 - 20uF RA - 22K (pot) RB - 1K IC - NE 555N Voltage 9V Schematic: techmag2003.tripod.com/555circuits.htm To go down as far as 1Hz you need bigger RA potentiometer (like in schematic it's said 250K). Useful thing though sounds kinda annoying. All parts are from CCCP radios(except IC and jacks) :)
