Wow! I'm glad I stumbled upon this video while finishing my VR4 build. Initially, I wasn't planning on using covers, but now I see their importance. I'm definitely putting them on and double-checking that nothing has fallen in before dropping the engine back into the bay.

Bro, you are crazy being that close to the action area. Without PPE you could lose an eye for sure. 50T is a lot. Do you have any bearing that use close to that?

Have you done high power pulls on these turbos? Trying to get a feel for how theyll be on a V6 nissan 300zx. I currently have twin gtx3071s and im at the limits of these turbos.

I have an elite 2500 on a sbf. I used their basemap For the direct fire ignition and sequential fuel. The tdc offset angle was at 60. I had my cam sync installed at 195 degrees like msd and Holley. Anyways I ended up at 685 in order to get the timing correct. I have the 4 magnet full cycle sync trigger with a mad single pulse cam sync. A balancer with markings 360 degrees helps for sure. Thankfully it’s a one and done thing. This is my least fav part about setting up a new system on a car. Especially one that is converted to direct fire coil near plug or whatever we are calling it now days.

Chris: What model engine hoist did you use to pull our VR4 engines with attached transaxle or which would you recommend that will also fold up for storage? Looking for one in the $400 to $800 range. Thanks - Gary

Yes my name is Seth Lucas can I switch the differental assembly from my 91' five-speed FWD, with a 93' differental assembly which the bigger spline cuz I did have a 93' five speed in the car before burned it up, kept the assembly out of it just in case I could swap them, cuz I can't find the damn axle shaft for a 91 anywhere have three wrong ones and new CV shafts after I just bought new CV shafts, please help, 1900 on a vin trani and it's sitting in driveway

Thanks for the video! I'm pulling a 6G72 this weekend and have the same engine stand. Very helpful to have a visual. One thing I noticed about yours, the diagonal support bracket needs to be flipped if you decided to fold and store the stand. Thanks again!!

Great video, Chris! How do I tell if the valve guides are worn out and need replacing? Or, maybe it will be easier to just get new valves? Are any aftermarket ones good enough?

I have a question, if i were to replace all the fuel injectors on my dodge stealth 92 rt twin turbo how much would it cost? My car won’t start and i already got the the fuel pump replaced and cleaned out the fuel lines and filter.
