Austrian Dialect - Greetings
Since there isn't a whole lot of content about the Austrian dialect (kind of a "butchered" German) on UA-cam, I thought I will start out with some basic greetings that are used in everyday life in the Austrian countryside 😎🏞
sorry about the crappy video quality, I realized it when I already uploaded it 🤦♀️😂

What language do people in Vienna, Austria the most speak , Standard German or Austria German ?
This was a really good video you should do more!!
There are no comments, so I will put one, from my own experience with Austrian German: When I went to Slovenia in March 2022 with my friend, we had to go through Austria, since we're Czechs. At first, we didn't stop at all in Austria, we just had a little rest at Mondsee, which is beautiful by the way, then we went straight to Slovenia. 2 days later, we were coming back and during our trip through Austria, we had to stop at Flachau to refill our gas and buy some Austrian beer, while we were there. My German in general is really, really basic and when I was learning that in high school, of course we were exposed to standard one spoken in Germany. I went there and said "Guten Tag" (now I know that with this phrase, you can detect Germans, since you rather say "Grüß Gott"), cashier said the same and some other worker said "Servus", which caught me off guard and I immediately said "oh ѕhіt, I almost forgot those are Austrians with their specific speech" in my head, since I knew Austrian "servus" way before for some reason! From that moment, I have said to myself that it would be useful to relearn German basics and to make it interesting, I will go for Austrian German, since I like Austria more, we share common history, so we are more close to each other and most importantly, that "servus" from Flachau stick to my head to this day, I just loved the sound of it and the sound of the language in general. So thank you for the lesson, I am glad I have learned something new...and I am not trying to be spammy, but if you would like to see my time in Austria, I have made a Slovenian vlog, where there is a part of Austria as well. Your wonderful mountains make me jealous, I really like them!
