@@tomfox747 a 45.9 is a respectable time tbf, the lines and techniques look very on point for all corners except teardrop, which is stupid hard tbf

@@MMRacing20 only way I could get through consistently was with a light flick left then right. Everything else I tried resulted in bouncing and understeer.

It's a DJI action, only running 60fps. Good camera for the money.

You might be able to do that, not convinced it'd be the quickest way round though. They still run endurance events occasionally!

Never been to notts. One of the many I still have to visit! Yeah Sheffield is a great track to drive, super difficult to overtake though.

Earlier this week as far as I was told! From what I've heard the old ones were pretty worn out.

Thanks for the clarification. I'll update the desc. I've heard mechanics talking about karts being "turned up or down" so I assumed they were running on the safer side from factory.

No they were fine with it, I asked before hand and they said no problem!

Made for a bit of a challenge 😂 Yeah track was decent enough. The bridge was basically a full blown jump, I was about 6 inches in the air coming over it 😂 Hah yeah it's starting to look that way...

Awesome! 1. Get down to a members session and try to learn from the fast guys 2. Oversteer ruins lap time in these karts. 3. Always be looking exactly where you want the kart to go. 4. Hit your apexes.

@@tomfox747 i am indeed a local there, my best being a 44.6. i haven't done a pub session for a while in the new karts and when i last did one it was back in november time i think. only managed a 45.9 aswell lol

They're easier to spin than the petrols. The breaks take a bit of adjusting.

Difficult without any reference. Best thing you can do is follow some of the quick guys on a members night! And remember that you're not driving a petrol kart, use the torque.

@@tomfox747 ye I was trying that I went last Monday but I think I was using my brakes to much but I'm not sure if I'm right. Do use them often because I noticed that's when people where pulling away from me

Light dab of brakes into T1. And a harder brake into the tight hairpin after the mini down ramp on the top section. Everywhere else is either flat or a quick lift. Because of the torque on the electrics you can really chuck them about without losing momentum, they respond well to a slightly more aggressive driving style as far as I can tell.

No they aren't doing 70, the indoor petrol karts I think do about 40, these biz electrics at warrington probably top out in the mid 40s. Tights tracks make them look quicker than they're actually going. But the torque on the electrics feels mega, they are certainly quick enough.

They were on 3. I've driven both speed 3 and 4, and I can't tell the difference anyway.

Keep going, you'll find a couple of seconds with a bit of practice.

He realllly wasn’t too happy at the end of the race, he mentioned contact was too bad but proceeded to pit manoeuvre the race leader who was lapping him. Had my experiences with him too that race 😭😂
