First, in case you don't know, Charisma Shop is now selling the updated MEV, and the new edition's text is on YouVersion. Second, the point I was trying to make was that the MEV can give the NKJV the freedom to avoid further updates. For anyone who dislikes the slightly dated sound of the NKJV, the MEV could try to offer wording that's a tad more up-to-date. Frankly, I don't think the MEV goes enough in that direction, but that's simply because I want the MEV to fill a slightly different niche than the NKJV. At the moment, they both kinda do the same thing. Still, the update is certainly an improvement.

This is a nice illustration. However, the difference between the TR and the CT lies deeper. In essence the TR and the CT are the same, they are compilations of manuscripts. But there are two major differences: While Erasmus in the first place used what he had at hand, which was so defective that he had to translate the end of Revelation from Latin to Greek, the CT uses the full range of all available manuscripts found so far. And second, what most people ignore is that there are almost as many editions of the TR that differ from each other, as there are editions of the CT. But the editions of the TR are derived from arbitrary decissions of the editors, while the CT uses a set of fixed criteria to choose a certain text over another.

We have to get out of using the word. Christian and Christianity, because in all reality, most of the Christians who believe and follow Christianity do not believe the words of the Bible Christianity is "Christ I anti" AKA anti-christ Christ specifically says in order to get into the kingdom of heaven you have to keep the commandments. So therefore, in order to follow Christ, you have to be following the laws of God Christianity teaches against the laws of God

I'm assuming I'm the first comment and I didn't really get a chance to watch the video as of yet. But we are the children of this book. We are The ones prophesied to have gone into captivity for breaking God's commandments. The fact that there has been a narrative to change the race of the people, the land, the language, and all the things that the prophecy state would happen to. The children of Israel happened to us as black Hispanics and native American peoples. I can understand why nobody wants us to know who we are. The Bible says once we wake up it's the end of all other nations... All the other nations don't want us to wake up because it means the end for them. The Bible states that once we wake up Christ is going to exact vengeance not hugs and kisses vengeance... None of the things that the Bible states that are going to happen during the coming of Christ are good things for anybody who is not a follower, a believer, or an Israelite for that matter... The other people have said we are the devil but the Bible describes all the workings of the devil and they seem to be all the actions that every other Nation has done against us even if you read. Psalms 83 it breaks down every nation who has conspired to keep us down all the way from the times of antiquity... The Bible is a powerful book. It is not a white man's book. It is a book of prophecies and those prophecies describe the end of every nation and the fact that we were the Messenger to say that the end was coming, we became the scapegoats

I agree with you brother. I have read the KJV all my life. I have an MEV and I like it as well. I personally believe that a person should read whichever version draws them closer to the Lord. There are some dangerousness translations out there that I would not recommend to anyone.

I have that blue Walmart KJV you're talking about and it's my favorite text. Notice that it's a Thomas Nelson KJV, the same publisher that gave us the NKJV. You get the best of both worlds.

|I also trust my KJV bible, and some words are difficult but not to worry, I look up the words in a old webster dictionary or a Greek concordance.. I looked up scarlet woman and the dictionary told me to look up Revelation 3-12, the beast is a kingdom (religionus or political or both) Look up Vatican in Latin-it means divine worship of the serpent. I trust the reformers and my KJV.

This is my pastor. He wasn’t Jewish, we aren’t a Jewish church. We are a christian church but also believe we should keep sabbath, eat clean food, keep biblical holidays. Those are the only real differences between us and most evangelicals

I don't bother with them. They have eyes and ears, yet they ask for evidence. The created world is itself the evidence. You cannot get order from chaos, law from lawlessness, symmetry from randomness. To look at human life, the intricacies of nature, the miracle of childbirth, good, and evil, and everything in between, and not come away deeply impressed that this was all intentional, and ultimately meaningful, but rather to believe that it's all just a random, blind accident of lifeless, unconscious physical processes, is so completely beyond the pale of anything sane that I cannot help but to marvel at such people. They are absolutely fools in every sense of the word. And yet they think us fools, and believe themselves to be wise. As it is written, the foolishness of God is greater than the wisdom of men. The fact remains, they love their sin. They love the freedom to live life as they themselves desire, and to do exactly what they themselves should wish to do. It is much easier for them to become convinced of a lie than to surrender themselves to the Gospel of Jesus Christ, and repent and believe in the Son of God, who died on the cross and was raised in the presence of many witnesses, whose testimony we have, sealed in blood. And their naturalistic presuppositions prevent them from ever finding God, because even when they look at the evidence for God, they approach it with a methodology that precludes all hope of finding Him. Because in their heart, they have already crucified the Son of God, and likened Him to idols, false religion, and created things. This is itself the judgment of God. Don't waste time on those who are accursed. Preach the Gospel, and love the truth. Persevere in the faith until the end, in faith and obedience to Jesus Christ, who is eternal life.
