When you observe all of the 10 commandments, you have to abide with all of them and you can't pick and choose of which commandment you like and which commandment you don't like. I was homeschooled k - 12, am 34 now, and honestly would like it to be illegal, except in cases where children are so severely ill they would miss months of school anyway. My childhood was a nightmare of isolation. My youngest brother was allowed zero socialization for most of his childhood, and wasn't even taken to church. I am currently starting to attend church again, but the homeschool movement is a cult that promotes child abuse and did a lot to push me away from God. I don't know how you can say there is less abuse in homeschool families when the Pearls are (were?) influential leaders whose books have been linked with cases of child abuse deaths?
