The world we occupy now feels like a much different place than it used to be. As kids we roamed freely for the most part. Mostly safe and/or oblivious. As a parent now, I could not imagine my children having the same freedoms that I had considering the differences in the climate of our neighborhoods. What do you think? Until then, they are just another face in the crowd that you don’t understand. TIME AIN’T REAL episode 3 live now on UA-cam, Spotify, Apple & Google Podcasts. Link in BIO.

    You have all these people that claim they don’t support or agree with Dr. Umar, but can never debunk what he’s saying.. This shows me how cowardly and acceptance thirsty black Society is.

    Hip hop killing young black youth

  • @ancoloco8236
    @ancoloco8236 2 місяці тому

    Dr. Umar is right, unfortunately. Your interpretation of benefit and generational wealth has to be very misconstrued for you to conclude that HipHop has benefited blacks worldwide and black Americans. My plea to young black youth is to embrace education, embrace relevant information. Embrace real wealth, ownership of property, ownership of monetary institutions, ownership of educational institutions. A “gold chain” and car is not wealth. Please, elevate your standards. Pay attention to how certain groups benefit from our toxic culture. WAKE UP

      @@ancoloco8236 you couldn’t have watched the whole episode and thats fine. But I won’t be responding at length because if you can’t dignify me with a full understanding, then i can’t either. I never said anything about a car or a gold chain and thats how i know you did’t watch or at least failed to understand my point. I agree with everything you said, but you clearly do not understand MY point. Thanks for commenting.

      @thegxdsarewatching dr.umar Johnson is right fuck a car and a gold chain how about having black owned company that make the vehicles you so covet or how about owning the gold mines where we can hire black people to mine the chains that u so covet the moral of this comment is ownership.

      @@takeaxsh00 you clearly didnt watch the whole episode either. I never said anything about a vehicle or a gold chain. Misdirected passion is still misdirected. There are more black owned companies today than there ever has been. EVER. We manufacture MANY things.

      @thegxdsarewatching yes I did and you basically agreed with that mouse dude hip--hop was dope when artists were selling record outta the trunks of their cars why because they were independent and made alot of money it was when they start signing these major label deals and signing these 50/50 distribution and marketing deal is the control and independence that black hip-hop recording artists had went by the wayside ,BTW it is all about distribution and marketing control that you will control black recording artists who these record labels and publishing companies why because the major labels have more money to offer simply put we don't jobs but we do want to own /control our own destinies and right black people are not doing that we're just employees .
