All these spots are insane lmao
I timed it this year and from "freshly paved" to "99a or softer" takes roughly 6 months for our streets. With concrete it's about a year before it starts chunking out unless its covered. Good old nasty appalachian rainwater mixed with loads of salt and abrasives from the snow and ice just eats through everything.
@@loveandnapalm yeah man I moved to PGH about a year ago. I’m old and washed up but I always try to find a little curb or manny pad with some smooth ground near me that I can hit up when I feel up to it. It’s been challenging to find something that’s both chill and smooth. I live down the road from that bank to ledge on the basketball court and even that was rougher than it looked.

Got super psyched when I saw the little bank in the loading area near Aldi. I wanna wallride that bank to wall near the Bloomfield bridge but it pretty much goes straight into traffic. Really stoked on this.
A lot of the spots in this footage are really crusty, especially the downtown Pittsburgh stuff. Sick stuff!

Bloomfield is such a good neighborhood to cruise. There's so many really cool little spots.. I always think about hitting those benches outside west Penn when I'm skating home from the shop but there's usually people on them (and the one time I tried my old legs couldn't get up) so it's cool to see someone murder them like that. Yinz are awesome, so happy to have a great shop in town again.
