Sorry for the delayed response, life got busy with the holidays. I need to make a video of the platform I built. The bins are from Home Depot and work great. Its convenient to pull them out when needed. Good suggestion! The Sangre de Cristo mountains are one of the most beautiful mountain ranges in CO. They are steep and rocky so traversing them with a horse would be so tough. Thanks for subscribing.

Tough call. The full bar might help protect your headlights if you hit a tree, I went with the half bar to have some protection of the radiator if I hit something but not get in the way of my headlights.

@@87_North I recall that I could not find it on Amazon so I ordered it from another web site. It was expensive, around $100. It fits perfectly. I just used zip ties but may do something else in the future to better secure it. The bottom plug fits exactly in the hole already in the GX. You're right! When I started walking up to the vehicle I thought someone was stuck and needed help. I thought they were sleeping in the vehicle. We talked about this, we would have been in big trouble if someone was there with a weapon. I would have just ran! :)

Sorry to hear about the deer accident but the good news is you now get an awesome new bumper! Overall it was pretty easy to install if you have someone else to help lift it in place. I did end up cutting off one bolt on each front side in order to fit the D rings after I installed it. Thanks for subscribing.

@@SceneryDrones Its hyperlapse mode, about 20 minutes of the drone taking pictures and then the pictures creating a video. It makes things look like they are moving fast.

LOL! Hayden Pass is more challenging, I hit that earlier this summer and it had challenging, steep, loose rock sections.

Thanks Josh, I'm loving it! I haven't noticed a difference in sound when driving on the highway. It probably didn't help my MPG but the GX already doesn't get great mileage.

@@gxdad How's the steering? Does it make it feel more planted on the highway? Does it take corners harder now or about the same?

@@huntah405 I don't feel any difference in steering. I was on a dirt road this weekend and a dirt bike came at me on a blind turn on the wrong side of the road. He locked up his brakes and hit me. Didn't even scratch the bumper but he took some damage to his bike and body. Completely his fault and glad I had the bumper!

In the longer version of this video, the XJ struggles at first to pull out the GX 470, but with a little more digging out of the GX, the Jeep got the job done and pulled her out of some deep heavy snow!

@@gxdad we had 2 out of 4 kid, my wife and, her EX lol. It was an adventure we took a wrong turn on the trail and went up forest service 93. We accidentally went the back way, and went through some MASSIVE puddles probably left from your adventure. Haha
