Detroit Pistons News: Pistons POSTCAST Detroit Pistons LOSE To Atlanta Hawks, Trae Young Ends It, Cade Cunningham Drops 30
DETROIT PISTONS GAME SUMMARY: In an exhilarating encounter at Little Caesars Arena, the Detroit Pistons fell just short against the Atlanta Hawks, losing 132-130 in a high-scoring affair. Trae Young led the charge for Atlanta, putting up a remarkable 34 points, including the decisive last-minute step-back jumper. Despite this setback, Cade Cunningham's brilliant all-around performance highlighted the night for the Detroit Pistons, posting 30 points, 14 assists, and 6 rebounds. Detroit showcased tremendous effort, with Tobias Harris and Jalen Duren contributing significantly, scoring 22 and 18 points respectively. The Pistons' ability to battle back into contention was marked by their efficient free-throw shooting at 92.1%. Although the Pistons mounted an inspiring comeback with strategic plays and teamwork, they ultimately could not eclipse the Hawks' resilient offense. As they aim to convert such close games into victories, the Detroit Pistons will look to build on their competitive display as the regular season progresses.

Atl played over their head tonight,Tre was on a mission tonight.Sasser has to go as a point guard, two small not a good shooter or passer we can do better, Ball,Brodgen, has size and Cabe can play the two at times Ausar and Hollen foul two much.
The NFL playoffs are screwed. A good team shouldn't be punished, because of one off-night game. Playoffs should be a best out of 5 series.
We say all this negative stuff about stew but he has been a defensive anchor for us and he adds that level of toughness. I believe we should begin standing up for ourselves. We have to be Dawgs out there
@@nickspiration313 yeah that does a lot of good when you get tossed and aren’t in the game… tough to impact the game when you’re in the locker room after another ejection. Meanwhile the pacers are just laughing at us because the team is naive and oblivious enough to actually think they’re tough. You know a good way to “be dawgs out there” … WIN!! Try beating the pacers more than 3 times in 11 games. Fake toughness personified.
“Lines were crossed”. Brotha, you let Siakim go for a season high and tried nothing defensively to switch it up. Hilarious that’s what JB is worried about
Losing Beef Stew would be a huge set back. Them playing terrible defense has nothing to do w Stew. He's the only one on the team who actively boxes out and sets timely screens, and has all the intangibles a big man should have. He's also extremely athletic and an underrated passer
To be fair the last two beef stew incidents before this one clearly he wasn't the initiator or aggressor. Detroit needs toughness. The refs are way too soft now I know you saw Chris Finch was ejected for no reason and Anthony Edwards had to hold him back last night
@@o0oStillWeRiseo0o I agree, nba has gotten soft but we can’t change that, and fact of the matter is, when he gets tossed and repeatedly shows signs of immaturity , he is more of a liability and a detriment to the team than anything else.
Listen to Pascal Siakam or Tyrese Haliburton's postgame pressers. They both said the same thing as JB. Don't know who started it but Detroit has a history of getting a lot if techs recently and the Pacers don't
Jb was fired by Cleveland for a reason, his players keep making same dumb plays
So Tired of Steward talk stuff get kicked out Jb has to get some balls out your players in check, dumb fouls getting beat off dribble we are soft .stew should be fined Jb every game stew does this .he not that good to put up with headed bone stuff.
@@dwainpritchett4349 exactly 👏 same old crap every night. No accountability. Then they wanna act tough SMDH
Yeah another win! Didn’t get to watch it! Tell us all how they won!

@@maryjoisaacson great win!!
Lions fans spent all year talking trash and trolling, but they can't handle it when they lose. If you can't take it, dont dish it out. It made me laugh out loud to see them lose.
Love Cade. Dominant game... But 10 turnovers vs 7 assists is a problem... That needs to be cleaned up vs better teams than Houston...
Luckily there's not many better teams than Houston.
Same old sorry ass Lions 😝🤪🤣
This another rivalry for NBA could be 2027-2028 nba finals
but where’s the Skol chant 😂
Absolutely loving this humble pie 😂 Skol
My take...I'm heart-broken. But Dan Campbell is the reason I love this team. I hope they are humbled by this loss and learn to play like Barry Sanders. We need better coaches. That's why we lost.
What a disappointing end to a great season. Obviously this team is different , they set some serious momentum and franchise records this year . 15-2 is hard to do. But to just meltdown that way …and also last year the meltdown in the conference championship game ? It’s hard to argue with the people saying SOL. I don’t agree with them …but those are some serious meltdowns . Can’t garuntee they get those beautiful opportunities again. But they still have a ton of young , amazing talent, and MCDC. There’s good chances they are back within the next season or 2. And hopefully without the INSANE injuries . But they absolutely have to analyze what went wrong in the last 2 playoff losses . But anyway It was truly a sensational year . More people will realize that after the smoke clears
Now you guys know how packers fans felt through the 2010s lol
Hello Brother. It was both a very tough loss to accept... AND, at the same time, the reason the Lions lost: too much belief they were unbeatable. I know it is basically impossible to quiet your heart and think with just the brain - if you can *try* to that , or if Campbell and Glenn had, then looking at Jayden Daniels past 7 wins in particular and his season as a whole should have made the only winning strategy very clear - you cannot let Daniels on the field. The should have run Gibbs, Montgomery and anyone else who could carry a footballl until their tongues hung out. They didn't, because they were too sure they were going to win - Daniels will beat you. Every. Single. Time when he has the opportunity to do so.
Live by the trick play, die by the trick play.
They run the ball better than anyone in the league. Better than Philly and Baltimore? Idk…
Jarshit Goofoff
All week lions fans were talking shit and trolling me all week like they where the chiefs 😂😂😂
I’m looking forward to new coordinators. Especially on D. Johnson gets too clever in playoff games. Gibbs was a machine and yet Johnson does what?
Two of the Lions' best players nicknamed themselves after childrens characters! It's not really that big of a surprise that they lost.
Jayden Daniels has a huge playbook. Add that to no huddle and 4th down play, a defense not prepared will give up yards. The Lions were not prepared for that.
Jamo is not to blame for that horrible play call, it was stupid.
Vikings exceeded expectations, Packers met expectations, Lions total failure on expectations
💯
The lions and vikings will never win a superbowl playing in a dome. Its not a coincidence
JD5 is the owner of Detroit football from now 😊on
Jared Darnold.
Trolls arnt being trolls randomly… its cause you cocky ass lions fans said there was no way you could lose and you were winning superbowl and packers suck and Vikings suck blah blah… you did the same thing they both did. You lost your first playoff game. Pathetic. Jared cousins darnold prescott Goff lost you the game bro.
BTA Session
Wow - the NFC North which sent three teams to playoffs ( 3 weeks ago I was sure that one of the 3 NFC North teams would get to the SB) gone from the post-season.
BTAAA
bye bye Lions back to gloom and doom man you guys SUCK hahaha
the Lions are born losers you deserve this for all your smack talking all week , Goff is a bum the Rams crewed you , Daniels is a superstar qb
Plus when u all had 12 on the field with 4&2 and didn’t give the timeout I didn’t understand that
As a Washington Fan, I didn’t think we Stand a chance against Detroit, but they way Daniel’s, and our defense played was exceptional, Detroit fans u have nothing to be upset. U all had a fantastic season, and I think u will be here again
Gotta feel sorry for Lions fans. This was going to be their year, but it's ended in heartbreak. I've gotta say that Dan Campbell didn't call a very good game at all. He made some bonehead plays, tried to get too fancy. That fancy-schmancy trick play in which Ben Johnson threw the pick was not a smart play to call at that critical point in the game. Gee whiz Dan, don't you trust your offense to be able to get down the field without having to resort to trickery? Johnson never should have thrown that ball, the guy was covered. One thing that I felt good about though, was the fact that Dan Quinn gave Campbell a taste of his own medicine by going for it on fourth down and making it a bunch of times. This is what killed the Lions. Daniels was playing like a seasoned veteran out there, while Goff had a bad game, he definitely had the yips. He must have caught it from Darnold in the previous game. Overall, I think the Lions did not benefit from the bye week. They looked flat on offense and weren't their usual selves on defense, either. This team played so hard all season long, I wonder how much of it has to do with not being able to keep up the same level of intensity for that many games. Part of being successful in the playoffs is peaking at the right time. Gotta give credit to the Redskins. They came into a hostile environment and beat the No. 1 seed. Wow!
😂😂😂😂😂KARMA SWEET SWEET KARMA
Y’all came to all out lives trolling an now you crying 😂😂😂😂😂 GTFOH hold this L 😂😂😂😂
