Did you have any issues installing it on a convertible? I know they said " wont fit convertibles " but others have used it.
The bracing in the rear was the only thing. I got it all to clear rather well

You have a beautiful car. The engine choice is great. I have crewed for three years on a 69 Mustang with a 521 ci. Big Block Ford injected on methanol. The engine was very reliable and consistent. Just change the oil, check valve lash and clean the injectors. Almost maintenance free. No parts breakage.
yep. been trouble free so far. havent even had to touch the valve lash yet after 20 or so runs

Your caption says 3" lift spindles but in the video you say drop spindles. Which one did you use on this car?

@@GearheadRobI'm thinking about getting the lift spindles but I was trying to see how it would took first. Hopefully it dont raise the car too much to where it leaves a big gap between the top of the tire & the fender. I have 26's on my MCSS but I keep having lower ball joint issues due to trying to use the coilovers & cranking them up to get the ride height I want. These spindles might be my solution to my ball joint issue

So would this be a good way to lift a car for say some 24’ wheels and be able to keep stock springs and kinda keep same ride quality instead of going coil overs?
we are trying to fit 24" wheels on this one. it is ls1 swapped. but has new monte ss springs in it but 1.5 coils removed. im gonna have to put another set of springs in it to get it to clear the front fenders. never seen anyone go coil overs on these to clear wheels. normally its a truck spring or the like to force it up as high as one can get
What pistons did you use
Custom diamond pistons. 2 valve relief for sr71 gas ported etc . Roger at kaase can get ya setup like he did me

I don't understand the need for a dual pattern camshaft based on flow number differential between intake and exhaust. If my intake flowed the same as the exhaust at the same gross valve lift, I'd ask for my money back from the head porter.
the need for a dual pattern cam comes into the matter when you have a poor performing exhaust port design, such as any pushrod ford cylinder head ever. and since kaase improved intake way more then the exhaust port (intake ports raised, runner design, valve angles etc changed) and the stock exhaust port location is the same, plus with smaller bore engines having to run a smaller exhaust valve. if you wanna make power, and have a solid torque curve as i do. then you run a dual pattern camshaft. 20 degrees more duration on the exhaust side does the trick . when your intake flow is so much greater then the exhaust side, you make up for it with duration being increased on the exhaust side. this is why when you spec a custom cam, they normally always ask for flow numbers. but your comment proves to me and many others, you don't understand how a engine air pump works. and i know I'm legit wasting my time even replying to your uneducated comment
