Middle Creek Wildlife Management Area in PA gets around 100,000 Snow Geese every year in February or March. When they all take flight at once, it is inspiring!

The Toronto Symphony Orchestra hired a new music director, and the opening week was star-studded and inspiring. This documentary was produced by the same company that produced The Red Violin. The result is wonderful!

Manchester Music Festival Allegro con spirito 00:00 Adagio 12:30 Allegro 22:56 Vittorio Giannini was born in Philadelphia in 1903 into a musical family. He taught composition at Juilliard, the Manhattan School, and Curtis Institute. This quintet was composed in 1932 in a style considered old-fashioned. But it is beautiful!

@@jbondy6395 Better late than never. Thank you ! My classical music collection is vast and kept an as an impeccable shape as possible. I try to include the musicians as well, they deserve the credits for their work, I love to know who is playing. I expected a quintet to be playing. You took the trouble to mention even individual names.Thank you !
Giannini wrote a very interesting opera on "The Scarlet Letter." Especially Hester Prynne's aria shortly after the beginning (composed for his famous sister Dusolina) is terrific!
