You Are Loved - Pride Month LGBTQ Short Film
Переглядів 4 тис.5 років тому
You Are Loved is an LGBTQ short film celebrating Pride Month. I made this film over in Cambridge, England when I studied abroad this past semester. I hate how Christians use the Bible to condemn people, especially people who are just trying to be themselves. The message here is that there is love in the Bible, for everyone- EVERYONE, no matter what people say. I want people to feel loved for wh...

The Rhythm of Life - A Surrealist Short Film
What a beautiful life for a beautiful soul! I am sure she will be missed terribly by her family & friends.
She is Awesome...
What a remarkable woman!
I so enjoyed this interview. Watched from the Cairngorms Scotland.
What a wonderful interview. Watched in New Zealand.
This was really beautiful! I can tell just from this video what a lovely person she was. All of those modelling pics of hers are awesome too!
This was so beautiful Carmen, I smiled, laughed and teared up ❤️. It's amazing that you had all those pictures of her as a kid and growing up, I see her in you so much. 🥹
As a retired Indiana State Trooper I wish this was a mandatory class in all police academies. This is an unbelievable film and talk that Tom has developed with the help of others. But what an incredible idea he had he deserves an Oscar for this one. Well done Tom Feltner
this helped alot
So sad and unbelievable. I am here for you in support and as a a friend 😢😢😢
That was moving at the end
Beautiful
Sorry, I just don’t buy it. Most churches have zero tolerance for gays, and rather than helping - as this ‘salvation before the altar’ most definitely seems to suggest - they cause incredible anguish and suffering - often leading to suicide for gays. As such, I’d far have preferred an ending where they actually went on to have an immediate passionate tryst in an adjacent confessional, clothes strewn on the church floor. That would certainly add some true depth to this otherwise saccarin, rather improbable snippet. (Rummaging through the garbage - no gloves - to pick up a guy you’d possibly been fancying from afar - maybe for days, months who knows? Surely desperation has its limits?).
I want too see more of these types of positive films
This is one of the most beautiful films i have seen in awhile. I have struggled in the past before i accepted who i was and I did not care what anyone else thought. I love myself wholeheartedly.
I too.
boys .. get out of the sect temple .. you are not welcome there and they threaten you with hell .. this is the wrong place for LGBTQ+ people...let me WARN you
Idk know if this was a lesson or just a joke lol
Thats gay
Place name?
This was filmed at Valparaiso University and the church is called the Chapel of Resurrection.
I came out as Gay in 7th grade 1990 at school only and came out to family in 2012. I have no idea how they never suspected LOL i was bullied verbally and physically bot at school and youth group at church
It touches me on a personal level I have known that I’m fat since the age of 12 but I had convinced myself that it was only a passing phase until the age of 16 when I started my journey to be fully accepting of who I am and I promised myself to never cry or punish myself for being different🏳️🌈❤️
Jesus would have been gay too. Why? He's a god, he's able to be reincarnated many times. I'm sure he must have been gay before. He understands how we feel, for sure.
I'm sorry that the world now is so genuinely messed up that they are mistreating an actual mental issue. Physicians across the country are mistreating a mental disease by mutilation and castration and hormone therapy. This is essentially the same thing as telling someone with schizophrenia that their disillusions are real.
Amazing how he finds comfort and understanding in a church
Need help?
Iknow
Didn't know Evan was an actor!!
Much love Carmen, hugs from across the country-Dave
Hey Carmen I subscribed to to your channel ! Dave Alpacas Rule!!!
Congratulations on your film being included to the Slamdance roster. Hope to see you at the FWD Doc meet up at Sundance on the 21st.
Is mayonnaise an instrument?
The world hates but i don’t give a care
Verry nice
Perfect. Just perfect. Thanks, Carmen.
Interesting 🎶✨️
Lovely♥️🏳️🌈 Idéal as a teaching tool in Sex-Ed classes. Many schools (at least in DK) are in spite of the enormous change in society over the past 10 years (since it became legal as a gay couple in DK to get married by a priest in a church) still very old and conservative in its teachings, both regarding teaching methods and the information they spread too their students. Subjects as LGBTQ+ and SoMe safety is still missing in our schools, but religion (mainly or exclusively Christianity) is still on the schedule through 7-8 of our 9 years of mandatory school years. We often brag about our free liberal country with our open and accepting population, but many parts of our society is seriously lacking an update. But we’re on our way, and as long as we’re moving forward, making changes where we can, we will arrive someday ❤️ Speaking of updates, I’m missing a rainbow heart emoji ! 🙄 ❤️ + 🏳️🌈 = loading…⏳ #Apple #GetToWork #MakeAChange #ImWaiting
So the guy decided to go through the dumpster to find something about the other guy, then stalked him and they hugged just because they are both gay.
My only regret is that I have but one thumbs up to give this video.
Love this. very inspiring. well done : )
A lovely message.... I can hardly believe that people feel it's OK to be so rude and unkind to the LGBT+ community.... sure, we're all afraid of things that we don't understand , but using terms like 'fag', 'dyke' etc., to be hurtful is terrible. At least the lass with the bibles didn't judge - I can think of a lot of scriptures that encourage us to accept and welcome 'others'..... The trans girl in the film is going through enough 'Sturm und Drang' already without bigoted, ignorant, transphobes twisting the knife!!! A wise man once said:- "When you're going through hell - just keep going". XX
As a retired special educator, I love this project and this documentary. Informing police officers and other first responders is of utmost importance. Grateful to the family and to Emily for sharing this story,
Congratulations
Nice! Live for love thats what Jesus lived for! Happy Pride Month!
I told my parents after my granny asked me to finally talk about it to my parents. So I did on the 8th of February 1996 at 8PM. 🙂
Do you know anyone with Down Syndrome? What do you love about them? I think one of Emily's greatest qualities is her sense of humor.
So very touching never have l seen such a powerful statement made in such a short time.Being gay myself this touched my heart
So did they have sex 🤔 after to make sure he was gay b4 he told his dad? Just asking for a friend 😃🙃😀😁🤣😂
You see, this actually makes me wanna support LGBTQ. It's super annoying when people talk about it on tik tok or Twitter but when it's put in a short film like this, THIS makes me feel like they need help, not some random girls yelling about it on tik tok.
Hey, It would be super awsome if ypu would support it !! You should just support everyonr the way they are :D
@@jaaay3699 Yeah, I only support the people who don't fake it, trust me, aloooooot of people fake it. But I obviously don't have a problem with them fighting for their rights, so I support them for that
@@jaaay3699 Also, maybe it's just me, but, I kinda want one giant movement against all kinds of segregation.
This funny asf thanks for putting the work in
