Amazing!
awesome. thanks for playing All I ever need is you. awesome good to see Paul Yandell there too. Merry Christmas 2023
This is an older channel I had.
Glad I found your channel
Eddie, this one's SWEET!! Looks like Phil back there jammin' too. 🤟 I've been looking for where I can find this song since I've heard it & learn it, but I'm not having much luck. Can't find a UA-cam of Reed actually playing it... Was it on any of his albums, or just another one of the great guitar thinker Reed's masterpieces that somebody else played?
I don’t think Jerry ever recorded it. Mark Thornton did.
@@gman4860 , what a shame! He's become my absolute favorite picker... I'll look up Mark Thornton's version then. Thanks for the reply, Hoss! 🤟😁
So cool!
This genre of music should be call smooth country
Awesome job! I think Chet played his D'Angelico on the original recording, but that Gretsch you're playing almost sounds identical. Love that style of playing.
Wow ! amazing !
kind of got bored waiting for the volume to raise above .001 i can see he can play that thing, i just cant hear it
I am watching it on my phone and I can hear it fine.
Awesome! Def one of the best covers out there
Yeah I also like, Gary Potter trio 12 St rag. 👍
11 years later this is still a great performance!
Excellent!
Watched this after Roy Clark's version. This is much slower but it is soothing. I like it.
Same. And it is
i was expecting the roy clark version 😭
I am not really into fast playing just for the heck of it.
Tabs please :(
I found this 6 years ago when I was 8 and on another account. I never thought I would hear it again. thank you, where ever you are now, for making this.
Thank you. I need to put some new stuff on here!
That was a remarkable recovery from skipping the 2nd verse, commendable. Great job!
Fantastic job guys on one of my all time Atkins instrumentals! I love your version of it. BTW, that is THE Gretsch to own! Is that the CGP model?
Mark Stephens yeah I bought it in 2008. That was about when this video was shot!
SON !

Ya just had to cut it off before Eddie got going, eh? Drat. After Chet passed away they guys I most liked listening to at CAAS were Phil, Eddie, Bresh and Jim Nichols.
I think i have the rest on UA-cam Thanks for the compliment. Eddie Estes
Since Chet and Jerry passed away the main reason I went to CAAS was to hear Eddie, Phil, Bresh, Dobbins and a few others. Just phenomenal players and very pleasant to talk to.
Easy for the master Chet =)
Are my eyes deceiving me? Is that lower bout cut clean off on that Baldwin? Makes sense since that increases the acoustic tone output...or that part of the guitar was damaged at some point.
That's how Jerry reed wanted it. So he went to Baldwin, said to them "make a cut right about there" and so they did
@@00big_chungus00 Shot Jackson in Nashville did it. He was the same person who put the Baldwin Bridge and Prismatone pickup from Willie Nelson's busted 800c into Trigger (Martin N-20) in 1969 and made the first electric banjo for Buck Trent also with a Prismatone pickup.
Lucas Mollet thanks for the information!
hey hombre do have the tab?
It was pretty low but it played great. Thanks for the compliment!
hey Eddie ur wearing I'm jerry guitar out man..i was wonderin..how low is the action on that thing? cuz I heard he like it super low
My favorite Jerry's Breakdown presentation. Those rolls are just flowing.
Love seeing Paul sitting back and enjoying Phil's excellent "Reed pickin'". Sure was an honor to know him, and like many others, I sure miss him.
Very excellent playing---enjoyable extremely so, thanks.
That's some mighty fine pickin'.
He sang happy birthday to. Me I was that boy
Blown-away here Eddie. Flawless pickin. Can't make heads or tails out of GB myself and I been a electrical engineer, programmer, and ham (N3BNQ) since 1965! Checking out "Jerry's Breakdown" now! Thanks for posting these! - Shudda
Starting to discover these vids VIA our old friend Ken! (TFGPA) - Mighty-fine pickin there Eddie! Yessir.. thought it mite be Chet himself for a minute - great tune too! MORE! - Shudda
Mighty Fine Eddie!! Paul would love it!!......Roger
Good one Eddie!!!.........Roger
Part of Jerry's tune Sassy.
Nice sound and nice playing!
Very nice. Enjoyed it.
hi whats the name of the piece played after jiffy jam?
wow what's the name of the first piece? amazing
Excellent tune and performance Eddie. Thanks for honoring Paul.
Wow, I have been researching him today as well. Didn't realize he passed late last year. Did Phil ever meet Jerry?.......thanks for your help!
No it is Paul Yandell.
Is that Jerry sitting behind Phil? Sorry to sound ignorant, I am a huge Jerry Reed fan, but I don't know much about Phil other than he's great.........
Mule skinner blues is the song mate!
いいなあ。こんな音トモ、ギタートモが欲しい。
