yup noticed them on the first lap too, which was a relief for me because the previous time i came here i was really pushing right up to the edge of the track already so it was nice to see its a bit wider now

dont really need to brake more of just lifting before some of the tighter corners... my session was the very first of the day so i feel like the track was still very slippery, towards the end of the day full throttle all the way should be possible

they are fun in very different ways i think if you want to do more racing, RUD's track is better, as X Park's track has no real overtaking opportunities. X Park is better if you are looking for a challenging circuit to do hot laps

@@CHBK123 Oh irdk, but take this with a pinch of salt - by gut feeling I think it's about a 1:15-1:20. Depends on the kart tune, weight and tyres, as I actually played with a friend and his actually had less power. So the tuning of the karts are inconsistent, as far as I know for the twin and basic karts. Still fun tho ;)

thanks ! some corners are flat out full throttle but for the others its just a dab of the brakes mostly other than the 3rd corner which required a bit more heavy braking

@@CHBK123 LMAO with the Basic kart I personally felt I had to brake much harder and earlier for the 2 mini-hairpins, I was already braking by the corner leading to the hairpins. I was taking it careful and my arm had a cramp from turning so hard - you make it look so easy! Might try the Stage 1 Karts at the end of the year - any advice?

@@kalebasphalt its faster so take a lap or two to get used to the speed and the brakes. i havent tried the basic karts at RUD so i cant tell you exactly the differences to look forward to tho 😅

hahahah yeah the steering feels crazy heavy at this circuit, thanks for the compliment ! i guess just from the many years of watching motorsports i gained the understanding of car control and racing lines, anyways if you're interested, i just uploaded an even faster lap of this track on my channel 🤙🏼

@@hhaydenshea pretty sure diff karts are faster on diff days depending on the tuning, i dont recall my kart number anymore tho

helmets are provided but go pro and the relevant mounts you'll need your own

@@yuchuga8341 hello im using a gopro hero 7 black, and in the box it comes with 2 mounts with the 3m sticky surface underneath, one of it is straight and one is curved, i attached the curved one on my own personal helmet and that is what i use 👍🏼👍🏼

@@henryhc yeah it is quite a challenging circuit in general. i went in the evening on saturday and in the morning on sunday and there was not much waiting sentosa track was pretty awesome too

nope lap can be done fully flat if no traffic, the track is closed now tho

@@CHBK123 most prob not. too tight to have many karts racing tgth. will be very hard to overtake if the skill diff is small thus will hinder each other timing also
