dont hand them your docs. show them but do not let the cops hold them, if they want to transfer data make them write it in the notebook and then FOIA request the contents of the note book, every time you get pulled make them work for it, submit a FOIA or SAR for the information, this will inconvenience 3-4 people every time you get inconvenienced. enough people doing this will start to cost the cops money for every docs inspection until its not cost effective to pull people at random (racial profile) and the brass will start to clamp down on it quoting budget reasons
