I’ve definitely been impressed with how Wolf has progressed so far this season.

The flames really need to stay out of the penalty box. It's costing them games.

Sutter’s last stint was a disappointing one. He wasn’t inspiring. Huska has a reserved but passionate style which I like. Only a fool doghouses someone unless they make a major fool of themselves, that’s just good sense.

Gotta practice in games to get better. This is a training year for the prospects.

That new look first line with Huberdeau Zary and Sharangovich has the markings of a solid line imo.

What are YOUR preferred forward lines for the flames?

I love the compete and the hard work hockey. I love the physicality and the puck battles. In previous years we saw half efforts on the puck battles for half the team. This year most of the team is full effort. I love the development of the young guys as they play each game. Edit... I can't forget about Lomberghini. I love every shift this guy is a part of and Wolf is a bright spot for Calgary.

Definitely happy with how the flames have started so far. Nice to see the new guys playing alongside our veteran players

My favorite part has been the compete level…it’s gonna slow down as the season goes on but these youngsters are really making a push to be core pieces.. Lomberg always brings the juice on the ice and Mantha seems to be having fun

It's been so much fun watching guys like wolf, coronato, Zary, and pospisil develop. It's crazy what a youth injection and a group of vets who want to be in Calgary can do!

Chris, your Parekh take might be a bit off, if we can judge his entire tournament and training camp off of one young stars game? Haha I'm sure he will pop in the next couple games though

I hope the Flames send him back to the OHL for the season. Why burn a year on the contract for him to play on a bad team? Flames need to tank this year and keeping him around is counter productive. Let him rip it up in juniors and put on some weight, hone his craft further.

I hope the new ice rink will do something special on it for johnny. I am devastated and my eyes leak. I am happy he is in Heaven with his best friend/brother Matty. My heart aches for his family and friends.

He's not adaptable at all. when you have to scourge the rest of the NHL to try and find someone who might work with him, He's over paid more than anything. Look at his record, minus 2 seasons (that weren't back to back), he's an average of 70 points/season. He's not worth anything. He has no second effort, can't contribute in any other fashion than an innate ability to pass.

Without a top centre and right winger, his performance won’t go up!

He was playing with Barkov in his UFA year getting around 100 points, calgary has nothing like that and HE cannot do it himself We need out of this contract or a decent shooting finisher on our team
