Yay! I got through the video and I have a beautiful finished movie! One of the best tutorials I’ve ever done. I learned so much. Suggestions? I did have to pause quite a few times. When you were showing us how to change the color of the background, it would’ve been nice if you had given a bit of explanation because the colors on my iPad are not the same as what I see in the video. Another thing was the circular propeller wasn’t grouped, so I didn’t myself. After that, I wasn’t able to create move/scale key frames. The clapboard wouldn’t change into the move/scale icon. So, I could only do animation with the performance button. That’s OK, but it didn’t give me the control I wanted with the speed of movement. Next tutorial, I’ll happily give you a tip because you really did a great job with this one!

Finally I did it. I put a zero in the $ field and the download was free. Next time I do one of your tutorials, I will pay you something. The unzip app had so many ads, I didn’t feel comfortable giving out my credit card Info. Now that I know you are for real, I feel better.

I’ve gone a bit further to realize you want money for the downloads which requires I give out personal information. So far, I can’t figure out how to get the down load for free,

UPDATE: After uploading the video, I realized that the opacity settings for the 'reflection' and the 'ripples' tracks needed to be set differently because you couldn't really see the effect on an iPhone! I was able to edit the beginning and ending result video and re-upload it. Here are the new opacity settings you can try: 'reflection' track=45% and 'ripples' track=50%. Thanks and sorry about that!

That's a really nice tutorial... but it's not working for me ....I mean .... I can just do one movement for falling leaves ... either its just the rotation or just falling down .... I mean ...I'm sure I followed all the steps ... as in this tutorial but the issue is, both movements are not happening at the same time ...... please help 😬😬😬

Hi Andy, I’m trying to animate the butterfly and following your steps. For some reason, it looks like it’s going in slow motion even though I moved it very fast. The FPS is set to 24. Would you know what I may be doing wrong?

Hi Andy thanks for the tutorial. I film iPad tutorials also, you may try turning off all ceiling and top lights, using side lights only, and turn the brightness of the iPad all the way up, you don't really need much lighting since the iPad screen illuminate itself, see if that might helps. Thanks!
