As a person who recently visited Soho Road Birmingham I was shocked at the trash, we were treated bad and talked to rude by shop owners, felt sick after we ate lunch there later that day, the blaring Indian music and the feces smell overall were so bad on Soho road that we had to cut the visit short and leave, we did not even spend the night in the dirty hotel room we rented, we really do not have the money to waste but felt it was not a welcoming place. I am not blaming immigration, I am blaming their counsel for not investing in cleaning the streets and passing laws to stop the continued bad habits of business owners, of course, it is a busy, overpopulated city with very few options.

Nah its an absolute shit hole, I travel all around the country and come across some deprived places, but parts of Birmingham (mostly Lozells, Sparkbrook and Handsworth) are some of the foulest shit holes I've ever seen in my life, full of the absolute dregs of society.
