Gotta run some kind of pipe dude, it may sound cool but if you keep running it with no pipe like that it could cause the valves to cool too quickly and warp cause more damage to the motor then its worth.. Also If you make a pipe that goes from narrow to wide you can get a deeper sound out of it. If thats what's your looking for by running no pipe.
