Hey, recently bought the ks2e too, any idea what is the blade hardness?

Kinda wonder if the scissors can cut through something like kevlar fabric or tie down straps or small bones.

I bought one of these at Blade show 2024 and love it

I received my Olight version a couple weeks ago. I'm just enjoying having the ability to have access to the many functions it has.

The edge retention with my first mini praxis is not that great

I use the Gerber Lockdown series and I am noticing more and more companies follow suit. I’m excited to start testing out these other models. I also don’t drink, or rather I don’t get drunk. I’ll still drink for the right celebration, but I do love getting Mexican cokes from the gut truck. There’s something just better about cracking open an ice cold coke in a glass bottle. So my bottle opener definitely gets some wear and tear.

What are you using to sharpen the scissors?

Is this the same as the Olight ok s2?

I bought mine a couple of months back, after I realized that I almost never used the pliers that make my other multitools so much larger. It's been a champ. Being able to one-hand the blade is a great bonus And the scissors are more usable than the ones on most of the plier type multitools that I own. Sometimes I find that sometimes the release for the secondary tools hangs a bit and I have to use my other hand to push them out, but I never have a problem with unlocking after use. I wish that i could get security Torx in a format that's usable by this sort of tool, because that would make it pretty much perfect for me, but it isn't going to happen.

Love the KS2E! The scissors, saw and knife are awesome. Regarding the smaller tools, the in line Phillips is great. I'm OK with the small file on the Phillips. It's not great for fingernails, but you can use it to file small things down. I'd be OK if they changed it to diamond. It's a minor tool. The can opener/bottle opener works well. As do the tweezers in the scissor handle. In addition to punching and drilling holes, the awl has a very sharp edge which makes it an awesome package opener. The only changes I made: 1) I removed the pocket clip (takes less than a minute), 2) I bought the iFixit Moray 4mm bit kit and changed the bits. The iFixit bits work much better with the magnet in the adapter.

I bought one about four months ago and it has been amazing for me replacing my old Victorinox Camper.

Nice review. It has become my multi tool of choice. I just wish the thumbstud was removable, because it makes sharpening the blade a pain.

FYI 420 is ony the tweezers and belt clip. DIN 14116 is scissors, bottle opener, saw and awl. I just picked one up and love the form factor! Ive been carrying a Supertool 300 for some time and love the weight reduction.

Between Christmas and New Year’s of 2014 my knife collection was stolen which included a favorite Survive GSO 5.1... In 2015 I ordered the GSO 8 and in 2016 another GSO 5.1. I have yet to receive either...
