Welcome to Habitually Handy! Seven years ago I quit my job and started building my growing family a house in the country. Little did I know that the experience would lead to a second career in construction, urban forestry and running my own business. My whole life I have been drawn to self sufficiency and self reliance. Come along with me as I vlog about DIY skills every week!

Very helpful ! good job 👍
What were the pliers used to loosen the oil line plug you referred to in your video?
Awesome !! I learn to much I have a t190 2006 and I'm looking your videos.. thanks
Good job! I'm working on buying a T190 so this is handy.
Don’t forget to change the grease in your final drive every 500 hours. very costly if you don’t.
Grease??
In the best oil to change it I just bought a machine so I’m new to this and I just wonder what kind of oil do you use I have a 2011 bobcat T190 track
There is any way you can get the part number from the oil filters and fuel filter filters for that kind of machine
Nice refresher, how's your drive belt?
No idea! Good call on checking that.
Lolol rare as hens teeth
Very informative
Cool
How do you like it ?
I think we could all benefit by becoming more handy! Like you said, our ancestors who came to Canada had a broad sense of skills and I believe that the average person today relies heavily on outside sources for most of their needs. Keep up the good work!
Thanks Laura!
When I read the title I thought you were actually going to hunt the horses. 😟 Good thing that’s not the case!!
Haha! A bit click baity I suppose!
That looked like fun climbing those trees! :) I love your intro talking about how it all started!
Sending out that huge top on the second tree elevated my heart rate slightly ;)
@@habituallyhandy6048 I bet! :) I love your mini-chainsaw that you use when you climb! I feel like I could actually handle one of those (not while climbing) assuming they are a lot lighter than a normal sized one. :)
@@lauralilly4698 It is much lighter than the larger saws! I never thought I would be using an electric saw but I love that thing.
@@habituallyhandy6048 That's awesome, I've been looking for a good electric one... I'll have to put that on my "wish list" for Christmas haha :) What model is it?
@@lauralilly4698 It is a Husqvarna T536. The T in the model# is for top handle which you don't want unless you are tree climbing. They do make a rear handle version. I can't say enough good things about the electric saws though. Make sure to include the right PPE on your list ;)
Learning LOTS! Great video!
Glad to hear it! Thanks Laura!
Now I want to go grease something.
Awesome!
Can’t wait to see the desk!
Me too!
Sweet camera angles! Man, you put in the kilometres!
Oh yes... the kilometers pile up! The truck has over 400,000 on it now 😬
Man... doors seem real annoying and patience testing to install.
They can be a pain... but once you do a few it gets pretty easy.
Soooooo satisfying watching that paint go on. 😍
Right?!
Great job on the house and on the video! Looking forward to watching more!
Hey, this is awesome! Love the name of your channel! The time-lapse portion where the camera moves along with you was so cool; did you turn the camera manually every 2 minutes or so or do you have a time-lapse rig set up?
Hi Laura! The time-lapse was shot on my phone with a DJI OZMO mobile 3. It's pretty cool for time-lapse stuff and for run and gun stabilized shooting.
Almost ready to do my own plumbing! Why do you back roll when painting?
Awesome! We usually bankroll just to smooth out areas where the paint goes on slightly unevenly. In this case we ended up not having to since the sprayer setup was on point.
11:28 That’s smooooth. Your good at getting ready.
Thanks Beth! Movie magic...
I’m looking forward to the next one
Me too! Good job fixing the plumbing...
Glad to hear it Jack!
