One thing I did to make the router thing easier is I set up a hidden Hotspot on my phone with no password, the ds is able to connect that pretty easy

In case anyone is still following this today and is a Spanish speaker like me, you have to invert the order of the phrases on the Jubilife TV section of the tutorial. So first do "CONEXIÓN WI-FI" and then "TODOS FELICES" instead of the other way around.

@ThePuddyj I just turned on hotspot 2.0 so it would show up. Before I put it on it wouldn't appear (I'm on android by the way so if ur using something else I don't know)

Do you have an unprotected WiFi connection? I had to buy an old 1 GB router from 12 years ago on EBay for 14$
To get the ''mysteri gift button'' you have to enter the words "Everbody Happy" and "WiFi Connection" at the Jubilife TV station (second or third floor, I can't recall) or wait for another event (since Mystery Gift opens itself when you try to access it at an event). As in the video first mentiont.
I miss the „Mystery Gift“ Button, anybody knows what to do to get that button?

@@darthlionzh8428 the problem was that I needed to go to the tv building which appears nearly at the start at the game and than I needed to enter a pass phrase to an old man at the 3rd floor to unlock the menu.. I think it was „everyone happy“ „free wifi“ or something like that.. after the gift menu was available

(20/05/2024) The mystery gifts still work. I had to use a different primary dns, [167.086.108.126]. The console I used was a 3ds xl. Extra tip (hotspot from a Samsung phone that has no password).
