I actually kind of thought it was BS that a Selunite cleric wouldn't immediately recognize her as a Sharran right off. I mean I admit Im a long time Forgotten Realms Dnd player so I know alot of the lore and I immediately saw that the first time I saw her full artwork. She wears her symbols out in the open. Far more openly than is prudent considering how reviled her faith is. If one of Selune's Silverstars couldn't recognize the symbols of Our Lady in Silver's greatest enemy than they really were slacking in their lessons.

God I hate that, “Lolth sworn” is not a race. Drow were literally created when Lolth got the dark elves demon corrupted. It’s how they got the red eyes and dark vision. Elves have infra vision, Drow have dark vision. ALSO PALADINS ARE SWORN TO A GOD! Knights have oaths, Paladins have divine pacts like clerics do. There are probably a dozen of them including orders in the novels. There are multiple paladins who lost their divine boobs for breaking faith with their god NOT BREAKING THEIR OATHS! That said, Lolth barely tolerates people worshipping the Masked Lord and Selvatarm, she would look very favorable on someone killing the apostate. One might forget, canonically Viconia was a priestess of Lolth before the dark lady of nihilism became her “Night Singer”.

Mean while in our server lolth still locked in the basment, drow cant vote in enough numbers to free her...yet.

lolth's defining characteristic is that she has none. also that description from the narrator wasn't a metaphor, she literally manifested spiders onto your spinal column for a brief moment. she's silly like that

Well, I’m glad I’m not too deep in to go back and do this. Now that I know this desecrates Lolth I gotta do it every time, even if I don’t need the inspiration point and all the sword is going to do is sit my camp chest for eternity.

I feel like, knowing this sword is one of the best in the game (in my opinion at least), AND it keeps the sword away from her daughter's followers, Lolth would understand taking it. However, doing it in a sacrilegious manner, she'd only forgive and show favor to her follower once again if they give it up as an offering to Lolth. *In act 3.* For the rest of the time, you're getting bitten by spiders every time you use it and night terrors each long rest until that fucking sword is brought to her. If she catches you NOT offering it up to her at the altar, instant fight with one of her handmaidens. If you win, you gain her favor AND she won't kill you.

I let Viconia walk free. Why? Because Viconia had DECADES of preparation to turn Shadowheart into the perfect weapon to kill Nightsong. Viconia murdered her followers in cold blood so she could focus on Shadowheart alone. Yet, Shadowheart turned her back on decades of infoctrination and on Shar. Who do you think a spiteful goddess like Shar would be agrier at?
