Unicorn 1991 Jeep Cherokee Limited (ENTIRE VEHICLE UNALTERED)
I found this XJ on Facebook and bought it to resell. It started up in 30 minutes and drove around town. It is so rare to see one in this condition so I think I am just gonna keep it! Enjoy this video and let me know what you would do!

After 4 transfer cases and tons of time and frustration, we finally found out what the shifting problem is in the NP231J. Check out this video and let me know what kind of content yall want to see in the future🤙 Insta: @rambo_the_comanche
Great build
How did you convert to automatic?
My wifes is a green 92 limited model hers has a sunroof ive only seen a couple with a sunroof. She also has the factory tow package. I like the limited model leather seats but the seat butt portion is usually always ripped i have a few good leather seat butts in my stash. Ive also put passenger upholstery on the driver seat the only difference is the seat belt bunjee is on the wrong side.
thats gonna be ma first truck to its a 1989 sporttruck tho
This helped me so much! I bought a “rebuilt” tranfer and its was stuck in 4wd
Very nice, about to get started on fixing up my 92 Comanche long bed. still debating color to paint it but Red looks good!!!
Nice job!
Nice build! lightly sand the tail lights and hit them with a couple coats of clear and you’ll be amazed.
Truck cool video blabla
i think i saw this one of facebook marketplace i want it lol
fucking beautiful
Clean build , red looks so good on 4x4 rigs .
Got a link to those fender flares?
That is one sick MJ! Love it!
Very nice Jeep sir
Nice Comanche I bought one 12 to rsale and i keep it this trucks r fun to drive never off road only on sand beach
Never luked comanches. I have a J10.. but yours is really nice lookjng
Great find! I had one of these new in 91 but mine was the burgundy colored one. Those were so unique with all the trim and rims matching the paint. If you keep it I hope you restore the trim back to white. Very jealous!
I like that reinforcement you did on the front, wow the whole build is exquisite. The seats are especially a nice touch. Bro everything is so cool. Lots of ideas and tips here . Thanks
🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥💪
Nice
Dillon's love Comanches, I guess
I have wheeled with Dillon at both Moab and in Colorado. His truck is well built, and he has taken it places a truck on 35's probably shouldn't go. Nice rig Dillon.
I had a 92 4x4 Comanche with a 4 liter straight 6 cylinder and a 5 speed stick shift.. Shift on the fly 2WD to 4WD.. Traded it in on a 98 Grand Cherokee V8 automatic 4x4.. Now have a 2018 Grand Cherokee V8 automatic 4x4.. I inherited dad's 52 Willies when he passed away.. All stock, runs great, needs brakes rebuild.. Gauges need replaced and lights rewired to make street legal again.. Because Jeep wrote the book on four wheel drive! 😉
Beautiful build, can't wait to get mine finished.
You mentioned that the bearing was the issue, but didn't talk about how you figured out *where* it needed to be set. Any other info there?
Following up with you because i had a similar issue. Been spinning my wheels! Did you get it figured out? I adjusted the depth of the bearing and it shifted great but after one time taking it out it started acting up again and moved out of place. Not sure how or why. Maybe my rear driveshaft is too long and i bottomed it out. It’s annoying to take the TC out multiple times to fix this. Not sure if i should get a new bearing or what.
Looks awesome! Did you bolt down the tool box ?
Yes I did. Self tappers through the bottom along with a couple bolts. Air tank is also mounted through the bed and to the toolbox for stability
Beautiful
Nice , too bad you did the front clip mod. Comanches look so mean with the original front
nice Jeep!
Thanks! 👍
For sale? 20k cash
No sir. Would definitely sell it for more. Hopefully I don’t ever have to sell
Well done brother. Much respect
Thank you!
Great-looking truck thanks for the video .
Thanks for watching!
Is this an on-road only vehicle? Or do you also go off-road?
We go to the Easter Jeep Safari every year as well as several other trips during the year.
I picked up a 1991 2wd 5sp Sport that was pretty clean with 202000 on it. California car, no rust and unmolested. Converted it to 4wd and installed a 3" lift running 31's. Love it...
Absolutely love this truck. Well done!
A+
Where did you get those fender flares? They are perfect
Notch customs M-Max
If your down to sale..m into it bud.
Keep it and spruce it up. They are tanks and will run forever if you look after them.
I bought my xj about 4 years ago for 500usd. All stock including the radio and rims. It's a 96 SE 4.0 with the ax15. The blue paint is faded and the clear coat is going but other than a little rust in the floor pan on the passenger side it's rust free. The rust came from the seal going. I plan on restoring it to all original and just giving it a 3 inch lift. That way it be extremely easy to turn it back to factory and I still get a little height. I will also change the rims but keep the originals.
Pretty Incredible. No Rust. That is fabulous.
that is a super clean XJ. the pre 97 limiteds have awesome real leather seats. some one put all that black paint on there, its a limited so that should all be white not black. Full size spare was optional. those are Marchal fog lights, they are very expensive to replace, hopefully you can repair estore them.
Congratulations on scoring the XJ. I picked up a 95 that was all original and only 92,000 mi on it about 8 years ago. Six cylinder and a 5-speed, in that beautiful metallic green. Couldn't be happier with it and at the time it was all original and completely stock. All I've done to it besides maintenance was to put a lift on it last year. Enjoy your new ride, they're an awesome vehicle.
Very nice truck sir!!
I need Dokyment for draiver car)
Clean Turn Out!! 👊 Always wanted a Comanche in addition to the current XJ build 👀
Thanks man!
damn man, it is hot
does your air compressor have any issues when doing a water crossing?
Not so far. As long as it isn’t pumping when it’s submerged
Nice rig
