I always felt like CoTM had this celtic music sound that made the soundtrack incredibly unique because no other Castlevania game has that sound. I love this, but it also isn't... That? I don't know. But I do know this is bookmarked.

Just came across this. It definitely has some personality. It's really reminiscent of Symphony of the Night, which also had an excellent soundtrack. Nice arrangement though, and i am kind of surprised to see such a current low view count (less than 4k) since the video has been up for at least 3 years.

I don't like how muted everything is

beyond the distant skies is more fitting for the early maps: fighting bandits, saving people in need of help, unaware of the scale of the war that's ongoing. This one has a serious tone to it, battles are getting harder, bosses aren't just brigands or armor knights, you can never be too cautious. I really like this theme, and the remix did it justice! Not a very popular tune to remaster/remix but i'm so glad i found this.
