Recall is gonna be a update that monitors the valve body and if its recognized as a potential failure will throw a code and limp mode the trans to only 5th gear, preventing wheel lock up. Its for all the diesel trucks with 10 speeds, 20 - 22 1500, 2500, and 3500.

What year vehicle ? I’m considering a 2025 6.6 gas with this trans. Has there been any updates to the trans in 2024 ?or for the 2025 models?

The ole Ecotec cracked head. Guaranteed it's been overheated.

Blown head gasket. Unless, that where they pored the coolant. I never take my car to Walmart…ever. They put my oil filter on wrong, so it was leaking oil. They fixed it by using sealant on the filter. After that, my car started smoking like crazy. F their service department. 🎉

Used to work as a lube tech for Toyota. There are quite a few vehicles that I’ve gotten in of shorter and smaller customers I can confirm this does happen, though we tend to just move the seat back I like this guys style.
