Yep I hit one of those large puddles along that lane only it was even deeper. Came off . Sucked 2litres of muddy water into the gearbox and had to push it 2 miles lol. Lesson never ever go greenlaning by your self
good quality video must say, Just an observation, I suggest perhaps you stay on the main track as more and more people go a little to the right and left to avoid the interesting bits the track becomes wider and wider and then will be closed to all engined user's, due to damage.I am not a do gooder, just a rider like you.

Coming from reeth Before crackpot there’s the lane that follows the river then comes into low houses farm where you’d turn right for crackpot, don’t turn right go straight over between farm buildings and farm house, usually some kind of gate on it

The trail is roughly 1 mile north of Westgate Village, Bishop Auckland, County Durham.

I was new to green laneing then.... always stick to the proper route not chicken route ,, improve riding skills ?

Low houses farm near crackpot, it’s been graded now but still a bit of a challenge

Does your bike need to be road registered? As I'm looking into getting a dirt bike but will be using a trailer to get it to where I'm going to ride.
All lanes are classed as roads so bike needs to be fully road legal

Most green lanes are marked on ordinance survey maps. Your local TRF group is a place to get started
