But there's a glich that if you go on the roofs you sink in. But over all a great map and the no AI problems.

Also I found the empire fighter color to not be good. But everything else is good though it was very easy for me even on elite difficulty. But anyhow great space map :D

Both sides are balanced and there's is a huge fun factor. Plus not allot of vehicles which is a great idea. Well done with this map!!!!!

Though the Rebel cruse ship was hard to attack because of the guns are to powerful. So if you work on the turrets then that would make things better.
Now you can fix textures via TOML config file in the Xenia Canary version.

Are you skipping the cutscenes or is it doing that irself?
this isn't a complete fix, the issue is they have disabled vsync within the config file of Xenia, causing the jets to fly extremely fast, sensitive controls, cutscenes to speed up tremendously. 60 fps is nice, but the playing experience is different now since everything is sped up.

Everything works fine for me, but I have super sensetive roll settings. Like I press right arrow and plane immediately starts rolling super fast. How to fix this?
I wish I could access the Reddit file, but r/acecombat is blacked out due to the protests.

I just tested this on Steam Deck via windows xenia. Works like a dream. This is dream becoming true. AC6 is one of my favorite in the series besides 5 and 0.
How is it right now? Does it have any small problem like cutscene audio didn't play, random texture glitch you know minor stuff Because i have been thinking about buying a Steam Deck next month and i really want to emulate every Ace Combat games
appreciate this so much. it's worth dealing with the broken cutscene audio to be able to play on my computer

I downloaded the file, how do I get it to run on Xenia? Do I have to move it over to the game file?
If you downloaded the xenia build in the description. You must also download a Ace Combat 6 rom. After downloading that rom. You should drag that rom which should be either in .rar or .zip file type onto Xenia. Or you can just open it manually.
@@BattlefireTV I have the disc and installed it on my USB. I have no trouble running it in Xenia, but when it comes to trying to open the save file, I cant seem to get it to work. I hope I'm not being a nuisance.
@Jackie Chan no you aren't being a nuisance. Just trying to understand the problem. Do you already have a save file ready which it fails to load, or is it that when you start a new game and save you can't load that?
@@BattlefireTV Its when I start a new game and I cant load it. I think its because its not in ISO format, but I could be wrong.
@Jackie Chan OK that is weird. There tends to be a problem when they try to load a pre existing save. Never head of a new game save not working. Did you try playing the game on the official up to date Xenia? Try that if you haven't. Check the save file also and see if anything is missing. There shouldn't be a formatting problem because xenia does everything automatically.
I wanna play it now that it is fixed... But unfortunately the XENIA EMULATOR keeps just crashing every time I try to open it... Downloading from their site does not fix it also... Anyone else having issues... I have RX 580 (ASUS 8GB) ???
Annndddd... It automagically started working today... Now if anyone knows if I can make PS4 (fake) controller to work with this... It is registered in WIN as PS4 controler... Bluetooth, touchpad, gyro and everything... Steam is OK with it... AC7 in there also...
@@StarFyodperor Download DS4 Windows, your DS4 should be recognized as a X360 Controller once the program is open
@@StarFyodperor just run the xenia through steam just click add non steam game at bottom left of steam library i did this to all of my emulator as not all of them detect the ds4 even after ds4windows installed

My copy runs perfectly but for some reason my left analogue stick is *too* sensitive. Like I just roll to the left for half a second and when I let go, the jet just keeps rolling... anyone know what the issue is? I heard it might be related to vibration settings but I have no idea how to turn that off in Xenia (their wiki is useless)

If you look at the description. There is a download link of a custom build of Xenia specifically for Ace Combat 6 that fixes the textures. The official builds do not address texture problems for Ace Combat 6.

All that's left is the sound during cutscenes! But the game itself is almost flawless. :) Thank you so much for sharing this with us. <3 I can't imagine it was a simple fix.
I HIGHLY recommend cockpit mode in Ace Combat 6. The fov is wider than it was in previous entries, and it's even better than AC7s! You get full head swivel just like you do in third person. Track targets by holding Triangle in dogfights, and it really turns the game into a sim.

Canary is pretty wild with some of its patches. Gears 2 is BUTTER smooth at most times.

The soundtrack is such an important part of this game - I'd love to see it fixed with 60fps emulation one day!
Hey! Using the download link from your description I can get the game running on xenia just fine, but I'm having issues getting a user profile setup to be able to save my progress. Is there anything special I have to do? This is my first time using xenia, and from what I can see I'm the only person with this issue that hasn't been able to get it fixed on their own. Only affects cutscenes. I'd play it as is tbh, it's flawless in missions.
@@Vespyr_ yeah but I want to experience with the cutscenes too. Is part of the experience. Watching after doesn't have the same effect.
@@sonidoge6777 as a temporary workaround, just watch them on youtube when you get to them and skip the in game ones

There is still some sound issues for cutscenes and running the game 60 fps speeds up the ui and cutscenes. But every mission is playable without the ground texture issue.
All of the smoke and missile trails are super pixelated in my game. Do you know how to fix that?

Is the game and is because smoke is a 2d sprite wich cant scale woth the 3d resolution so what is happening here is , you are upscaling the entire game but the 2d asset cant , so is going to be more pixelated than before , in the original xbox360 this game is 720p or less so the 2d asset is near to that scale , solution for this? Probably a entire mod and re texture pack
@@saitoXamaterasu No, I mean it's way more pixelated than this video. Like WAY more pixelated. I tried running it in native resolution, but it didn't change anything.
@@PartofHistory214 maybe in config file on xenia you can try change the texture scaling to higher than 1
@@KimuriMedia I tried that, but made the whole screen blocky. Unless there's a second setting I was supposed to change when I changed the x y upscaling to 2.

I think YT doesn't like direct mega links in the comments but check the Reddit thread, I linked the missing Ace of Aces DLC.
How do you enable 60 fps? Looks so smooth, too bad it speed up the menus and cutscenes but the gameplay is top tier like this
You have to disable vsync in xenia.config. and yes it speeds the menus and cutscenes. But once you play AC6 in 60fps you can't go back. The gameplay experience is so much better. Also as I mention in the description. It still has some sound issues especially during cutscenes. But if you are playing g 60 fps you gonna be skipping the cutscenes anyways.

@Hagen Hallgard Sorry for the late reply. Didn't got a notification and came across your comment. For your question, i haven't tried to official version in the past month. So I don't know if they implemented the fix. But the linked build I posted is a custom build that fixes the textures.
