My condolences to Dwight's family 🙏😭😭

I was 14 at the time of Kasey Kahnes rookie season, and I always thought Kasey Kahne had the best car out there and the most beautiful car out there but could not complete the job and find victory lane in his 2004 rookie season. I remember watching this race live on TV and when they came back on air and showed the car stopped on the back straightaway/backstretch up against the wall, my heart sank because the best paint scheme just exited the track early😢. I thought he also can't win for losing either I have a 1:64 scale die-cast of the car still unopened when it came out on the store shelves

2009 was a terrible year for RCR in general, none of their four drivers ranked higher than 15th in points, and only 1 having more than 10 top 10 finishes.

Saw Dwight in Topeka, KS a couple of years ago and he was great! I also saw him in a Clint Eastwood film “Cry Macho”. He didn’t have much of a part. It was more of a cameo and his last shot in the film was from a distance so it could’ve been anybody.
