The OnionOS custom firmware makes the Miyoo Mini & MM+ truly brilliant. I wish that operating system was available on a superior console. Until then, my Miyoos get more play than my other better built retro handhelds.

I actually have this unit and I love it. Enable to add PS2 emulator on Android. Also, netflix paramount plus plays great and even have my cable subscriber so I can watch my tv shows on this unit on top of all of the games from nintendo sixty four psp

I hate how there is a latency when playing games with just Bluetooth headphones. I always have to plug them in. I’d love a wireless experience while gaming, but I don’t think it’s possible

Beautiful device, but after I installed Onion OS (4.3.1-1) and got all my ROMS setup ready sometimes (just sometimes) the SD card doesn't get recognized and the Miyoo Mini Plus starts the stock firmware, is there a reason for this? I have to reboot it or get the SD card out and slot it in again and then it launches correctly. Is there some brand of SD card model that works just perfect for this issue? is kinda frustrating. Im using a Kingston Canvas Select Plus 64gb (A1). The irony is that with the stock card that the Miyoo came works better the Onion OS frontend XD.

I raw-dog it at home but use a modified JSAUX case when out.

It's not a huge deal, but the airgap in the bubble on the screen protector means that section of the glass is not protected. The protectors only work by being able to distribute all impact pressure evenly. A gap allows for any impact to effect both the protector and the screen itself.

Loved you commentary on all these games, thank you! Getting race game reviews by someone who is a massive fan of them is super helpful. All of your choices were excellent picks! I've only played the PS2 US version of Auto Modellista and while the art style on it was astoundingly gorgeous, the car controls were horrible and undrivable. I read later that I should play the European or Japanese PS2 releases instead. Now I'll try the Gamecube version too thanks to you. Just curious if you ever did venture down into the PS2 rabbit hole for the various release versions of this game?

I highly recommend a 512GB or 1TB sd card. The steam deck is amazing for emulation but it reaches it's full potential with steam games. Persona 5 royal, octopath traveler 2, GTA V, Left 4 Dead 2, Streets of Rage 4, Tmnt Shredder's revenge, dead cells, and Persona 3 Reload all look and run great on deck.

There are actually multiple ways to play Mario Kart Wii online. Either through Dolphin's Netplay feature which basically acts like one console playing split screen, so everyone sees the same thing, or through a service called wiimmfi, which restores Online functionality to the game. The problem with the second option is that you have to feed it your own Wii's NAND, using any generic one from online will not work as most of them have been banned already. This check is there to make sure players who are cheating can't just use a different NAND to circumvent a potential ban.

Your Double Dash issue is interesting, Double Dash should have no problem on the Deck at all. Try a different Rom and set it up through EmuDeck. That should make it work flawlessly.
