m1 is good but if you have the budget then just go for m2 or m4, and for the size I haven't try 12" yet so I'm not sure how good it is for gaming but I think not that much of a different from 11", and from what I know it's buffed with features which is good for productivity and professional works but a bit expensive, so if you're only using it for gaming, entertainment and art then 11" is enough. but go for bigger storage like 256gb or higher the better
