Jesus was not born on Christmas. No one knows when Jesus was born and the early church did not celebrate any day to remember his birth. No one even knows for sure the year he was born. One is free to celebrate Christmas just like any other holiday but to claim it has to do with Jesus birth has no biblical nor historical support. One can participate but they should have their eyes wide open about the origins and what’s currently has become. It is a mixture of secular shopping and Santa with religious and Pagan traditions that are left over vestiges like Yule logs pine boughs and mistletoe toe.

Hammond lake was named for my maternal great great grandfather who settled Hammond's Landing which is where the campground's beach and swimming area of Lake Louisa, which was named for my great grandmother. Nice to find your channel.
