    Kind of wish there was a follow up video showing you painting the tower.

    The percentage dice refusing to go through the opening made me smile for some reason. I might make a few of these for prop pieces on my next vacation, thanks so much for the easy to follow tutorial, too!

    This is great. I've been looking for some crafty stuff to do with all this junk I've got lying around. I don't always have the right tools, tho, or the money for them, but it's really the ideas that are hardest to come by sometimes. I'm creative, but crafting isn't my main thing. Any advice for getting a cheap glue gun?

    its blood, you arent suposed to see through anyway, but if you wanted it, you should had diluted the paint before applying it and do it in steps untill you are satisfied with the transparency.

    Instructions unclear. Sprung a leak and ran out of "donors".

    Instead of your speed paint, you may want to try some acrylic ink mixed with a little acrylic medium. WAY better value.

    I have been using hot glue and clear caulk for water and lava lately and it is so much easier to work with than resin. You mess up you can just run the hot glue gun over it and reshape any time.

    Just wanted to say, i struggled making a dice tower with stoars for so long. I wasted so much cardboard and glue. I came across your video, and i cannot thank you enough! I hope your channel only continues to grow!!!!

    Another way to do water or other liquid streams is to have some clear fishing line on hand. It works like a charm.

    I gave this a like, and here's a comment: You put a million (okay three) tiles over your glamour shots. I hope sometime in the last two years you've stopped doing that.

    You could also look at it as the fountain had water in it first then the blood came. Great job on this piece.

  • @dwerenat1
    @dwerenat1 7 місяців тому

    Great piece, but I wonder why you think blood should be translucent. Blood is opaque. Light only penetrates at the edges where the thickness is lowest, allowing the plasma to spread out between the cells (this only happens when the layer of blood is less than paper thin) Once the blood dries it's opaque even at the edges.

    • @beardedgoblingaming392
      @beardedgoblingaming392 7 місяців тому

      Simple i thought it would look good if you could see the detail under it its fantasy anyway the fact that in the real world blood isnt transparent really doesn't matter Glad you liked the piece

    What a great idea for ice and show patches. I am a newer GM for a biweekly pathfinder second edition and only plan on fabrication for holiday games but i came for the dice tower and olan to watch all your videos for inspiration and creation. Well done. I might make a thing or two for my wifes Christmas stuff.
