What a singer/songwriter, actor/director, humanitarian & so much more this multi-talented DAVID SOUL was. His beautiful, soothing voice blended so well with Claire's voice(Dream with me/duet). He sang with his heart/soul. He also was a wonderful, superb actor but I always thought of him as an exceptional singer/songwriter/musician first. I will always cherish him as a singer/songwriter. He was Blessed by God with so many talents. We were Blessed to be able to appreciate/enjoy his gifts/talents. ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤

Wow, David sounds so different here! Must have been so difficult for him to come to terms with losing the ability to sing after his health issues, he had a beautiful voice.

So grateful you put this out there... I got to know both David & Claire very well over the years (you may heard that, tragically, she passed away on Xmas day in 2016). She had shown me this clip at her place at the time they'd just finished it... but I had never seen it since then as she could not give me a copy due to (c) issues. Really took me back. VERY emotional trip down memory lane as I still miss her friendship & support. "Dream with Me" is actually my least favourite song of the six duets they recorded together but it was HER favourite, and it was played at her funeral. RIP Claire and keep going strong David - both remarkable human beings in their own rights.

My favourite is La vie Dansante ! I’m not sure if this song was on any album as it was performed on a television special in Spain ❤️
@@badbee4690 - Yes, you can find it on Claire's "Duet" album, it features ALL the duets she ever recorded with David and many others that are even more beautiful (I think :)
David allowed Claire’s voice to shine through and not overpower her ! Just beautiful together ! I hope her unfortunate illness will be resolved and someone made accountable!
@@badbee4690 - she died on Xmas day 2016. Her daughter texted me the news. Worst Christmas ever. I still miss her. She was an extraordinary woman... No one will ever be made accountable. You can't fight Big Pharma. They are untouchable.

This duet with Claire Severac was released on her album of duets ! Claire was French so maybe it was released in France ! I agree it’s a lovely song ❤️
@@badbee4690 ~ indeed, the single 'Dream with me' was released in France in 1992 but it was also part of her albums and I've got an Italian copy as well (different LP cover) + the CD of course. It's my least favourite of their duets but it was her favourite :)
