Thanks for watching my video- it was one of my favorite hikes so far! The scramble up seemed dangerous so I didn’t go up the last part- but what beautiful views !

@@alhiker2683 I seen both sides of the locals a kid in wasilla pulled a knife on me but I met a old man panning for gold and spent the day with him he told me about arch angel valley and it was worth the walk, I would definitely return to Alaska

Very interesting experience and glad you met someone nice to balance that bad experience in Wasilla!

@@alhiker2683 I take a more than a month trip every year,been many places Alaska is at the top Hawaii is right up there, I dont have alot of money so thats why I backpack, im in Tennessee near land between the lakes good place to check out

It was a dog- but at first I thought it was a wolf as I was out hiking and didn’t see anyone around

I’m scared of both! I think bears more as they’ll keep attacking you until you play dead so the ordeal would be much longer… I hope I never find out! 😅😁🐻

And the beauty is so close - just a 15 min drive and I’m out in the wild 🌿

In the winter these trails look even more magical!

If I can time it just right- I’ll try to hike this when the first snow falls as the landscape becomes so beautiful (later becomes too difficult to climb in deep snow!)
