My friend and I watched this together because he just wanted me to see this game. We both looked at the thumbnail and asked… “Why is the video 5 hours long?” We figured out why. You do not need to stop and stare at EVERY. SINGLE. GODFORSAKEN. GRAFFITI. If it was not already obvious from the first few that it was Patreon support names or something along those lines… Jesus Christ. That with the fact that you take so freaking long to move through just one freaking hallway, turning back around to glance at ??? who fuckin knows, Having to stop and look at every single item or writing, whistling for the dog and then FRANTICALLY TURNING THE CAMERA SO THAT THE BARK COMES FROM EVERY POSSIBLE DIRECTION RATHER THAN JUST SITTING STILL… that one pissed me off the most if you couldn’t tell. And then finally sitting on a paragraph to read for an ungodly amount of time. How slow do you read? In comparison there is another “no commentary lost in vivo playthrough” that is only 2 hours long. That should tell you something. There is a reason TikTok is a thing now… people do not want to take the time to watch a 5 hour video with you glancing at every conceivable in game model and or writing.

God is about to come

Most terrifying part of the game is “god”. The vagueness provokes such a subtle lovecraftian emotion I guarantee it would not have the same effect if it said “the devil is coming”. Using god here creates a huge twist on something people otherwise would think of as a benevolent being and uses it against you. And because god is otherwise most recognized as being beneficial, the fact that his arrival gives you an ominous emotion helps drive in feelings of isolation. It’s as if every unjust deed in your life is coming to bite you back

Love how we can see you get scared at the end even with no commentary.

The premise and graphics are okay. But the gameplay is shit. Shooting feels very unsatisfying, mobs kinda explode on contact with you...

4 mins in, great video so far, i really appreciate that you actually take the time to look at every detail inside the house instead of going straight for the outdoors to hunt. The gun movements are a little too jerky for me though, makes me a bit nauseous but still wanna see what happens 😅
