Following 2021's very warmly received debut album "Villains In My Head", National Milk Bar return with their stunning new album "ELECTRO/CUTE".
Formed during the the pandemic, the Welsh duo of Chuzz and Sash deliver a sublime, driving slice of electronic pop, drawing on the sounds of originators such as Depeche Mode, The Human League, or Yazoo, but still sounding utterly fresh and contemporary.
Already booking live shows into 2024 and getting props as emerging artists from the likes of Electronic Cafe, National Milk Bar specialise in a sparkling and intriguing mix of strong melodies with killer hooks, and fragile, atmospheric textures, complementing Sash's distinctive vocal.

That's the first thing you did? Wow. Great vocals, Sash. Chuzz - yours aren't as ropey as you make out. Perhaps some judicious application of some kind of pressure in appropriate areas to help with the high notes?
A retake might have helped too… but it wasn’t in my key at the end of the day. Don’t fancy revisiting it now but thought it might be of interest 😊
