Thanks for being so transparent, it's really helpful as there aren't that many videos on people who are applying to be solo guitar/vocalists. I was wondering about the audition process prior: did they pick a song from the repertoire list or could you decide what you played?

Julian, I've worked with Morris Day and the Time on cruise ships but now preparing my promo pkg to work as a solo guitarist. Great information you gave! As a solo guitarist, I have a variety of songs (200) right now. Do I need some equipment that plays music behind me, as I perform? Or is it just me, my guitar and amplifier plus an effects pedal?
