Great video and a good selection of trains to see. That's the perfect viewing spot from that carpark. My wife and I have having a short break in Manchester in a few weeks. I struggled to get decent priced tickets from Newcastle. Eventually we got booked up .. we are heading down to Doncaster on LNER, then over to Manchester on TPE. I was reluctant to book the direct train from Newcastle to Mancheaster on TPE because their record isn't too good, especially on Sundays with regards cancellations. Last Sunday for example, 4 of their journers on this route were cancelled. Good luck with your channel

Is this the train that goes to criccieth and splits at Machynlleth. Is it the first or last two carriages I need to sit in. I'm just using this train for the first time next week, and I'm a very apprehensive.

That was a really interesting journey Jack, I have enjoyed watching. It's a shame you had to travel on a class 150. I agree with you about the shortage of legroom in some of the seats - not a comfortable ride sitting in one of those. It it wasn't for the seating layouts, class 150 sprinters could be good trains. Thank you for sharing. 🙂

I have just finished reading a book called "Railway Memories No. 32 - The East Riding Of Yorkshire". It's quite surprising how extensive the railway network was in this region before all the railway closures in the 1960s. Thank you again, I am looking forward to seeing the rest of the series. 🙂

Thank you for sharing your day on this wonderful light railway Jack, I have enjoyed experiencing the journey. Even at a time of year when all the trees are still bare, the scenery looks just as nice as it does in summer, but in a different way.

That cliff railway looks rather steep from a distance - far more than what it does when you have filmed the journey on it in the past. Thank you for sharing Jack, I'm enjoying this 6 part mini series. 🙂👍

I always enjoy your videos of Aberystwyth Jack, nice scenery there & back, but especially the ride on the cliff train. It's quite a long ride, I guess it is probably the longest cliff railway in the UK, but I'm not sure. As always, thank you for sharing. 🙂

Thank you for sharing your day in Cardiff & swansea Jack, I have enjoyed watching & loved the scenery on the outward journey. I hope the signal failures didn't spoil the end of your day too much. There is nothing worse then being stuck at a red signal with no idea when you are going to be able to move again & complete your journey.

I have never been to Aberystwyth before, but it looks really nice & the views from the top of the cliff are spectacular. I was impressed with cliff railway too, it is quite a length & makes the cliff railways in Scarborough look really small by comparison. Thank you for sharing your day Jack. :)
