    Dude im digging it. Im totally been sitting here telling Myself, ‘why dont i have friends like this...’ This is the type of stiff im all about doing to my truck. I got an ‘02 HO 6 speed, its got all the nuke proof stuff, non CAD 60 front, dana 80 rear with disc, nv5600, np241dhd. With barely 100k on it yet. Shes a unicorn, mint and perfect, ive already just about nuke proofed all the weak links in everything i could already aside from lift/ suspension. But i wanna full nasty on it like this. Ive built quite a few trucks over the years. The style and direction everyone goes with their builds is nothing like what your doing. Aint nothing out there bolt on out of the box, going to be as strong or nuke proof as what your doing up. The ford axle swap is a unique idea, but it lakes sense why you went that direction. Everyone thinks im cray for wanting to king pin my front axle, either weld king pin C’s onto my factory dana 60 axle tube or find a first gen king pin 60 and rework all the mounts. My truck being an ‘02 don’t have the CAD vacuum crap, like the older ones. Its not money keeping me from doing what your doing, its having a place to do it, the space, the help and having some friends to. Heh. I see yiur doing it in your driveway without a lift, and thats how ive always had to do it too. A lift would be nice.

    So you just lowered the hole 3 1/4"? and the bracket itself is only 1/2" lower? So you're not losing almost 3" of clearance compared to the old set up. Just wondering because 3" is a lot for some of us guys haha

    • @iambecuzican

      Lower Arm Mount hole center line is 3/4" lower, and the entire bracket is 1/2" lower. I didn't want to give up more clearance but the 1/2" was worth the angle of the arms. It'll be covered in the next video once it stops raining on my weekends!

      @@iambecuzican oh 100% understand. Really liked how you did the engine skid too. I took my truck down to Dethloff to mock up a 3rd gen set up, we never did get it finished and he decided he was only going to do 4th and 5th gens. Which makes sense he's one guy. But I have two factory skid cross bars to use for now until I can custom fab something beefier. It will be better than landing on the trans pan lol. I can't wait to see your truck running. You have any plans to run Trail Hero or Full Size Invasion?

    • @iambecuzican
      @iambecuzican 2 місяці тому

      @@MegaCabCummins6 I'll eventually sell the mounts I used for my skids once the truck is running. That way anyone can weld up some beef without figuring it all out. Put them to use, show them off, etc. Once I do get skids from the Engine Oil pan to the fuel tank, I can be a little more careless on the trails and not worry about taking myself out :) I plan on taking this on as many trails as I can without destroying the body. So trails like Fordyce I'll need some more exterior armor for first!

      This truck came with a hydroboost unit factory, which I believe started in 1996 for the diesels. The unit I have in this video is from an after market company, that Hi-flowed and ports them. They are not built for the Dodge so I had to modify the bracket, that came on this truck being a 96'.

    Adding info for Injectors.. MANY places advertise NEW Bosch bodies. That neglects to reference the nozzles, and thinking legally (I'm obviously not a lawyer) IF the nozzles and bodies were new genuine Bosch, they'd label them as New Genuine Bosch Injectors. But most don't. So you see bodies referenced in ads. Easiest way to figure out where the nozzles are from? Just call the retailer and ask :) and just like referenced in the video, this might mainly matter to those who want the longest lasting injector mileage wise and cleanest burning. Anything big horse power will haze more but if the needle isn't sealing properly, fuel will be constantly leaking out causing more haze :)

    I love the idea of using a double ended hydraulic ram for your hydraulic assist so much more room for clearance not having to have a tie rod and a ram down there. Curious on how they ported your box. Is there any extra flow involved? Also, what size ram are you running? I’m running a Toyota IFS box on my Colorado with a 2“ x 8“ stroke by 1.25 shaft which displaces, almost identical amount of fluid of my original ram that redneckram sent with my box also curious what you’re running for a pump and the flow of it along with are you running a ported Hydro boost?

    • @iambecuzican
      @iambecuzican 3 місяці тому

      The detail in the porting would be WAYYY better explained by Lee power Steering :) BUT, on their website you can see how much they open up the ports on the control valve, which is what directs fluid. So extra flow should be there. WITH that extra flow temperature should also be helped since there is less restriction. Ram size is a 2.5" Body with a 1.5" rod. and yes! I did have my hydro boost high flowed :) MIGHT not have needed it, I'll never know, but I didn't want to have to go back in and address anything.
