Yeah. It was pretty crazy. Realized after the fact, I also hit a Sunburst of Anfernee Simons. That’s in addition to his card /99 and the one /10. It’s like his mom packed it. If only all our boxes could look like that. Thanks for checking it out.

Yeah. The more I think about it, the more I realize just how crazy the box was. I also realized after the fact, that the one non numbered Simons I pulled was an SSP Colorburst. Isn’t super valuable but just another short printed card in a box full of them. Thanks for checking it out.

Autos will always lower the grade of the card they are on. PSA treats autos on cards like any other mark. They will lower grades significantly. It’s why you usually only see auto grades on vintage cards with autographs. Hypothetically, if you saw Joe Montana at a card show, you would never want him to sign a rookie in this condition, as you’d paying him to damage the card and lower its value.

In my experience, you can sell anything. Only question is what someone’s willing to pay. Sports cards from that era, save a few notable exceptions, don’t have any real value. In perfect condition, the Shaq rookie and the Jordans can fetch a pretty penny, but outside of that…Good luck!

I did a little research and it looks like that’s one of the reasons Panini introduced this mystery rookie set. Williams signed his deal too late to be included in the earlier football sets so Panini can make and distribute his cards along with 5 other prominent rookies of their choice at the end of the season. Still not a Caleb Williams fan but that’s the scoop. If you look, they did the same thing with Puka last year in a few sets once he had his breakout. Apparently, it was spurred on by Brock Purdy’s success as a 7th rounder and Panini not having any cards of his in the majority of their 2022 product. They didn’t want to miss out on that kind of $ ever again.

If memory serves, I picked the box up for around $275. Can probably find it for a little over $300, now.

That’s the worst! Get lucky enough to hit an auto out of a blaster, and it’s worthless. I’ve been there.

Probably wise. Any time I go into a product like this, it’s solely for entertainment purposes. If I hit something of value it’s a bonus, but as the market continues to soften, it gets harder and harder. Thanks for tuning in!
