@@jenbrant1 I don’t think it ever did, it already had the pre show room. Garfield’s Nightmare had a queue video at one point though.

It’s in a collection of old amusement park commercials all from the Pennsylvania area, I am not sure of the exact name though but I am sure if you look up Kennywood commercials it will come up

I looked as well but to no success, all the footage is way too dark and from what I was told it was removed very early on in the late 2000s. There has to be a picture out there somewhere

@@HistoricalAmusements Aw man lol Yeah I checked footage from news crews going through with the lights on when it just opened, and of course the camera cuts away right when it would’ve appeared. I’m gonna keep searching though lol

There was some walk though VIP tours they did recently and several UA-camrs filmed inside it. They showed where it was but there was not even remnants of the supports for it

Believe or not I just found a photo where you can see the paw, go to the Kennywood behind the screams Facebook page and search exterminator and you will see a lights on picture of the boiler from 2015 and you can see the finger tips of the paw

That’s how I felt when I rode it’s replacement Ghostwood estate when I was younger. I wish I could have rode the Goldrusher, cool memory!

I am glad it re jogged some of your memory of the old stunts. I talked to so many people who rode this version and they barely could remember anything. Glad you enjoyed!

One of your videos helped me make one of the stunts, the rowboat guy and the shark. It was the video where you were at the Heinz history center for kennywood day and they showed exclusive footage from kennnywood memories including the shark scene in Noah’s ark. It was the only footage I could find of it so it helped me make it accurate, so thanks!

Yes you are right, the ark did close before the 1995 season ended because it literally cracked in half because it was over loaded and was rotting. Construction started at the end of the 1995 season and continued into 1996. I said 1995 because that is when the renovation started, but it did open to the public in 1996. I did say 1994 in the description for some reason, thanks for the correction.

@@Fan2KFCI have seen that Darkride documentary, it was very well done. I remember riding the 1996 version when I was younger, I did not like the elevator much but I was young and I think if I rode it when I was older I would have enjoyed it more.
