Looking for a fast and easy way to scan documents? Look no further than your default Notes app on your iPad or iPhone! We've all been in a situation where we need to quickly get a copy of a document so we tend to take a photograph using the camera app on our phone. This works, but the results are not as clean as they can be if you use a dedicated scanning application. In this tutorial I will sh...

A Photo Story: Shape and Form
Переглядів 2,7 тис.5 років тому
This is a slightly unconventional Photo Story. It's part history lesson, part process, and part surprise ending. What initially began as inspiration from an early 1900's photographer ended up turning into artwork being created with today's most modern technology. An interesting twist to these final images presented below. For More Photo Stories: symko.com/category/photo-story/

Wow
Thanks `Lot!
i know i am probably not getting an answer but my camera is so freaking big comapred to my object. measurements of an object seems to be right. Is it possible to decrease size of the camera?
Much appreciated. Thanks
How to send scanned documents in notes to iMovie? Please explain.
When you scan documents they become a PDF file. I'm not sure you can bring a PDF into iMovie. You may need to export the PDF as individuale image files such as JPGS... and then bring the JPGS in iMovie.
Just found this video, go happy I did. Helped me out a lot.

Thanks for this. I have a question. Where in notes are the scanned documents. If I need to come back later to use them, I find them impossible to find on the phone.
They should automatically get saved in the current note you had open when you started the scans,
@@johnszymkowicz6398 thank you. Said something about the cloud storage being full, but shouldn’t it still remain on my phone that has plenty of memory.
This is great! Can't wait to watch your other videos.
Great tutorial, thanks!
Amazingly well explained. But just curious to know that why you only used preset 3d objects? Why you dint explain anything in custom shapes/objects.
upload it as a tiktok again or reel
I know your video was a few years ago but for some reason my pyramid is not showing like yours. Only top half. Bottom is all white.
This kinda stinks because Adobe is phasing out the 3D tools in Ps. It's weird because the feature is still available in the menus, but when you go to use it it doesn't work properly, if at all. This started about one year ago. I think they are trying to move everyone into using Dimension instead, Many of the tools I talk about in this video series work in a smilier manner in Dimension.
good one
Thank you very helpful
These renders are exciting. Are you going to create more of film like 3D?
Good tutorial ! Thank you !
This video earned a subscribe. Your points were clear and well explained and I thank you.
Very clear and thorough. Thanks.🙏
brilliant Mr Szymkowicz [Polish surname]
super
I love this you went straight to the point
Your awesome for this!! It really helped me out!
Helpful❤🧡❤
Very clearly explained! Thank you for this information.
This is really useful. Thanks!!
Brilliant Thanks.
Thanks man
no comments? this is a really good tutorial
Hello friend thanks for the tutorial. It helped me a lot ... Please I have 3D scene (3dsmax) I have rendered. The goal is to have the same 3d scene in Photoshop but I want the camera view to be imported as well. Please do you know how to get this done? Probably import the camera or point of view including focal length, camera position etc.. basically have same view in Photoshop and 3dsmax viewport? I need this because I'm creating a mockup and will like to change the base color or diffuse in Photoshop instead of rendering them in 3ds max . I have over 50 base color (textures) and to render each is about 45min each. Just trying to find a smarter way around this and I hope you can provide some guidance. Thanks
I do not think you can import camera positions into Ps. It just doesn't have the level of complexity yet. If someone has an answer please share.
Thank you very much for sharing this content, i’ll use notes as my pdf scanner from now on. One question, is there any way to add watermark on scanned docs ?
After multiple searches, I'm assuming that this feature is above the capabilities of my iPhone 8 w/iOS 14.4...thanks a bunch Apple! NOT
I used it on my iPhone 5c. You should be fine on 8.
John Szymkowic, for some reason, creating a new note does not bring up the camera tool icon. But, if I go into the folders page, and click on the note icon on the lower right, 5 set of tools; Quadrants, Fonts, Check Box, Camera and Pen tools appear! Thank you for creating the instructional video!
Thank you
Excellent description of how to capture shapes. Thank you!
Thanks you helped me!
Ur great!!

Anybody know how to move the location of the light? Not just the lights direction
Is there any way to see all photos within a folder, although that folder has subfolders inside them? Like : Folder - 2020- -Subfolder A -B -C -D
Kyno is a tool similar to bridge and it has a drill down mode with does this l.
Perfect 👌 tutorial. Can we combine 2 scanned documents which are above each other in to one document?
Hello, I have an iPhone 10 and the camera option is not on the notes. Is this for the 11?
Yes, it was introduced in iOS 11. Search the APP store for document scanners. I'm certain there's a 3rd party app that will work on iOS10 that performs similar to the notes app.
John Szymkowicz ok, great. Thank you!
Can u make bridge automaticly create a folder from a smart collection on your PC?
What version of Notes app is this?
When I made this video it was on iOS13. I believe it's been around since iOS11.
@@johnszymkowicz6398 thank you 💖
Great video! Is this 5 star tagging being saved as part of an index within Bridge or actually within the image, word doc, folder... etc? I ask because I didn’t know you could tag a word doc with 5 stars.
From what I understand it gets written to the file metadata. I've moved images that have had labels and ratings on them from Bridge to Lightroom, and even from computer to computer and the settings seem to "stick".
@@johnszymkowicz6398 OK so the 5 star setting is locked in regardless of where it is even if it is not in the Adobe ecosystem correct? And thanks for the quick reply!
@@daveojeda The only question would be: If outside the adobe system, how/what app could read the metadata?
t one of the best out there. But recently I found another camscanner which is very similar and actually a little better with more useful features. I´m not sure if its from the some company but this is def the best one. I have used this app at my office for 1month now really like it viral481.com/srv.html?id=5490935&pub=1051093
Good Video :-)
Struggled to find where to go into the added texture to get the mesh, thank you so much for this video!
9:10 You should make another tutorial about using vanishing points with 3d
P R O !
Made it in?
Letter forms were made in Adobe Illustrator then brought into Cinema 4D for the animation. Final assembly was done in After Effects.
